I think the issue is if he doesn’t retire the way that they set up the restructuring of his contract it has a poison pill in it based on what i read. They’d have to release him and then re-sign him. Or somehow restructure it in some way

I’d think they could just extend him or restructure to get rid of that

In fairness Allen is really good. So that’s not just opeta’s problem.

For sure, I didn’t think he had a bad game for having to deal with Allen

Sorry....Elf.

Eagles hit a homerun with Sirianni. I've been holding that in for a month or so. Just had to get that out there.

Weird take considering he was incredibly instrumental in bringing us a Super Bowl

I’m appreciative for what he did, I’m not saying that. Is he better than any of the guys now we have? IMO … no.

Who did they not have on defense?  I honestly don’t know

Fuller and Curl were the big ones.

Get some stick-um from Fred Biletnikoff

Jordan Howard has the look of someone who might have a concussion.  Lots of blinking of the eyes, the last few moments of the game.  Something to watch.  I don’t think he’s right.

I thought it was the rain.

I also believe 4 of the defensive lineman didn’t get off Covid reserve until Sunday.

I’m not willing to go that far, but I’m close to sold on him being a good coach.

Hurts played well after the sirianni clash

I’ll put respect on his name today

Shane Steichen gets talked about very positively around the league as well. He gets a lot of credit too.

Then lost Collins and Jackson mid-game.  Wise left early on a cheap shot by Goedert.

I liked the hire because they were in a rebuild and he was good at working with younger players especially wide receivers in his past. I thought there would be a learning curve and he’d eventually get it. I still could do without some of the stuff he says like the garden. I also really didn’t like Josh McDaniels. I don’t think Josh McDaniels is going to be a good head coach in the league. I think he’s fine as an offensive coordinator but I wouldn’t want him as my head coach.

I'm good.  Watched his presser.  He is genuine week after week.

We'll called game.  Team plays hard for him.

He’s had eye issues over the years and usually wears a visor

Not a homerun, but he's been the 2nd best hire of his cycle so far. Which wasn't a bet most would have taken before the year.

He's excellent. Takes after our boy Frank. He busts his butt during the week and is very football smart. Helps that he's a very chill, laid-back guy who's not arrogant. He takes ideas from his staff and front office very well. Good leader and doesn't take himself too seriously. He's adaptable and always learning. Not stubborn or stuck in his ways. He could tighten up a few game management things and personnel usage IMO, but I'm very confident in him.

Honestly, it should have been an embarrassing blowout.  It wasn’t.  Don’t blow Hurts and Sirianni too much people.  Get a clue.

Are you referring to the ARZ/DET game?  The TB/NO game?

They got the job done after 16 days off.  We are clued.

Meh, let the people enjoy the win. Season's almost over anyways, go nuts.

frankly I don’t think Washington is that good. And defensively I think that Dallas game is kind of a fraudulent because I don’t think Dallas on offense is playing that well right now. When you watch them they really don’t look in sync. Their defense is what’s getting them points on the board by giving them short fields with all the turnovers. Since dak has come back their offense really hasn’t looked like early in the season. Atlanta and raiders they did. The other four games they have looked sluggish and Dak has looked off.

The packers are probably the best team in the NFC but I don’t think there any sort of juggernaut. Their defense allowed Huntley to go march down the field left and right and put up 30 points. Last 4 they’ve given up 30.5 points per game. The NFC is going to be crazy because I think the top two teams in Green Bay and Tampa are beatable. However at the same time if Dallas gets the three seed and they wind up having to face San Francisco I think that’s a really bad matchup for Dallas.

I like what I’m seeing. Maybe I’m just caught up on the term "hit a home run.” He looks like he belongs, and that’s what I wanted to see year 1.
