Decided to pop on the BwF post game youtube, and Bo Wulf came on and the first thing he said was, in typical insufferable Bo Wulf fashion was he heard Eagles fans chanting let's go brandon after the game.

I'm sure he had a meltdown over that from reading his articles.

I didn't see the whole game but a lot of people in my Eagles Facebook group are drooling over his stats and the franchise record he beat

He’s in a room completely by himself, on zoom and he’s wearing a mask. 🙄

What does that even mean

It's a thing conservatives say that means "F Joe Biden"

Yes.  But he was able to lose slow enough to be effective.

And he was allowed to get away with bear hugs often without getting called for holding frequently.  Opeta was not very good... but Allen being fatigued by Covid likely helped him a lot.

First win of the season in the division; need to follow it up with two more.  Looks like the last wildcard will come down to Eagles or Saints — can’t see MIN beating the Packers or Rams, but Stafford will Stafford (Cousins is worse when the chips are down, though)

One would think Hurts will be highly motivated to redeem himself from that turkey against the Giants a few weeks ago — that game should be a decisive win.  It comes down to the rematch in Washington and finding out if the Turds have anything to play for on the last day of the season.

Devonta Smith is criminally under utilized here...  That boy should have been 1200 yards and 7 Tds by now....

I have a feeling Eagles may have finally hit a GEM with Smith, he maybe better than Jefferson afterall...

Got to check out who I'm rooting for next week. Whoever plays the Vikings, saints and niners. Guess I gotta pull for Dallas too. Gross.

He looks the part, he just missed an absolutely insane td catch. Double teamed tight coverage, wasn't a good read by hurts but he threw it and somehow smith got 1 hand on it and patted it into a position to catch except that he fell faster than the ball. I was more impressed by his effort on that incompletion than balls he catches. As small as he is, he has a real knack for high pointing and extreme athleticism. Wait til hurts gets better or we actually have a throwing qb and you will truly see his talent

Omg, here we go

Yeah, we won 4 games last year and coming into this year I thought we would win even less. Credit to the players and the coaching staff, they've come together well.

And a legitimate shot for a WC. Granted there's an extra spot and the NFC is way down. But still, color me shocked.

I love smith but that’s asking a lot. Jefferson is a top 5 WR in the league. He might eventually be the best with how his career has started.

Last episode I listened to, he did an exaggerated Louisiana accent for like whole episode to mock Brian Kelly. They lost me with that one. I might come back for Zach, but Bo is a self-righteous, annoying man child.

True. However i think our schedule has helped that. I’m curious to see what the win percentage of our opponents is at the end of the year and where it ranks. We’ve beaten saints (with siemian), Washington, Denver, atlanta, Carolina, lions and jets. They have a combined record of 36-61-1. Credit to the eagles besides the giants they’ve taken care of business against the teams they should. Meanwhile our 7 losses our opponents are 57-41 (giants loss skews this a lot cause that’s the only really bad loss in terms of team they likely should’ve beaten).

This isn’t wrong and it’s fair to criticize, but this is a middle of the road team who loses to teams they’re supposed to lose to and beats teams that they are supposed to beat (outside of the NYG game). That’s the definition of average and that’s what they are. Given expectations coming into the season, they’ve outperformed. The biggest goals that I had coming into this year was finding out if Hurts can be the guy moving forward and who Sirianni is as a coach. I’m still not sold on Hurts, but I think he’s going to end up buying himself another season as starter because he just hasn’t been bad enough to move on from. And that’s somewhat the scary part because that’s how you end up in the doldrums.

But after a rocky start, I’ve been happy with Sirianni the past two months. He’s shown that he can adjust and design an offense that can remain competitive and win games. And the players play for him. That counts a lot. He doesn’t have a franchise QB yet, but if he eventually gets one they will be a contender.

This off-season will be interesting as far as what they do with the picks. Part of me wants them to use them to help solidify the defense, but if you don’t have a franchise QB in this league you’ll never have a chance to go all the way. That’s the challenging decision that they’re going to have to figure out.

Gilbert had a better QBR than Hurts.

Misleading.  An INT counts as an INT on the score sheet and in the calculations, but from the Hurts perspective that was anything but an INT.

He's excellent. Takes after our boy Frank. He busts his butt during the week and is very football smart. Helps that he's a very chill, laid-back guy who's not arrogant. He takes ideas from his staff and front office very well. Good leader and doesn't take himself too seriously. He's adaptable and always learning. Not stubborn or stuck in his ways. He could tighten up a few game management things and personnel usage IMO, but I'm very confident in him.

Our boy Frank?

I wouldn’t waste much time cheering for DAL; if the Eagles win in Washington then WFT becomes irrelevant

It evens out. The catch Goedert made later should’ve been an INT. Can’t play would’ve could’ve should’ve in one direction.

I think that’s extremely scary cause it’s how you potentially get stuck in purgatory if hurts doesn’t take the next steps in 2022. I think they still attempt to get someone like Wilson or watson and ultimately fail. And it means he’s likely back as the starter next year. That said you have to go into 2022 you should hope he’s great because if he’s about the same this year in 2022 and then they are likely middle of the pack. So now you’re picking in the middle of the first round. It makes it much more difficult to get your franchise QB and move up to get it. Imo you aren’t getting cj stroud and likely not young. Cause i don’t see teams like the Texans or lions if they are picking 1 and 2 trading out to do it nor us paying the price it’d cost to move up that high.

It evens out for a player over the course of multiple games, but at the individual game level the sampl;e size is too small to promote any data smoothing.

Greg Ward should be given his rightful throne in the slot.  You keep Reagor but try to convert him to CB in the offseason.  That FF was impressive and he has the athleticism to potentially be a playmaker at CB.  And you know what they say about great CBs, they would be WRs if they could catch.

I like a lot of this.

Giving more snaps to Greg Ward,  who got Heisman votes as a college QB?  On a running team like the Eagles.   I'd put Greg Ward in the backfield,  run, throw,  and catch short passes.   Reagor,  I dunno.  He had some good plays today,  have him continue to do those things.  Some have suggested moving him to RB.   Does he play special teams?  He could be a gunner.
