Curious to see if the NYG deploy the same D they did last time that had Hurts so befuddled and if so how he handles it this time.  Can he learn and adapt? 

I rather expect it to be similar to the last game, though I also can't see Hurts laying down such a clunker as he did last time.  Could be a game where he doesn't really do anything to win it, but he doesn't do enough bad ish to lose it this time.  Sanders was running the ball well last time vs NYG and hopefully he doesn't get hurt this time, plus with Howard being back we can wear them down better with the ground attack than last time.

Bonus:  Eagles with 175+ rushing yards and end up with more yards on the ground than through the air.

Eagles-Giants games are always good for some really bizarre/memorable moments.  Should be more of the same.   From Bednarik knocking out Gifford... to the original Miracle at the Meadowlands...  to Vai Sikahema boxing the goal post... to the comeback capped by the only 'walk-off punt return' for a TD in NFL history... expect the unexpected today.

I don’t know how something like this leaks unless if it came from Minshew, Sirianni, or some staff member/teammate who saw it. So I’m not sure if I’m buying it. But that kind of seems like a dbag move by Minshew if it is true. Just know your role and stay ready as a backup.

Yeah... no employee ever asks his boss how to get promoted.  Minshew should just sit in the mailroom and be content with that... even though he's the more accomplished passer than Hurts.

 

Nothing wrong with talking to the coach about playing.  The d bag moves if he's unwilling to then play his role or becomes a distraction.  But, talking to the HC about PT... that's what you would expect from a competitor.
