Malveaux had a tackle and 2 QB hits. Already outproduced Kerrigan on the season. This Malveaux guy is good.

Idk, this team has the feel of one that can pull off an upset or two in the playoffs.

Since week 8 this team has outscored opponents 239-133 (29.9 PPG vs 16.6 PPG) with a 6-2 record.

I thought higgins was the best WR in the draft, I wasn't as high on Jefferson as others and I also knew the league wasn t as high on Higgins because he didn't test really well at combine.

I would have been ecstatic if eagles had picked Higgins, I thought they could trade down and get him.i really liked his tape.

JJ has proven to be more than just a slot and Higgins has proven that he's athletic enough to play in the NFL.

Meanwhile eagles got reagor who I liked coming out as well but his NFL body of work looks nothing like what popped on his college tape

His PR today was a positive glimpse but those plays sadly have been few and far between.

I didn't really know much about Reagor before hearing about him pre-draft.  I watched many of his highlight videos and didn't really think he was anything special.

Obviously there is more to a player than youtube highlights but I didn't see what the big deal was with him.

Your concerns about him are something that is fixed with more time and comfort in a specific offensive system.  He has earned the chance to be QB against next season.

I don't believe that.  His throwing motion is a concern; he has been a QB for a long time, comfort only goes so far. A player like Smith should be a pro bowl WR, even as a rookie.  Smith should be close to 1500 yards with 10 TDs.  He has earned being the QB through this season, he has not earned it beyond that.  But like I said, I'm all in with him this season.  Next season means nothing to me until next season begins.

Listening to talib call the seahawks game and my wife goes” who the heck is calling this game? Is that english?”

We just played down to one of the worst teams in the league after being high coming off beating up a practice squad.  IDK that I'm looking forward to 'a challenge'.

Why not?  Man up.

It was against the giants backup linemen…pump the brakes.  Kerrigan has been awful though

I think as he is now, he's an average NFL starter.

His ability to run is elite and only Lamar Jackson is better.  He didn't run much today probably because his ankle is still bothering him.

But if he's going to be the QB next year, the passing skills need to improve.  He should be working on nothing this offseason except his accuracy, anticipation, reading defenses, footwork, etc.

It's not unpleasant either.   We won.  They scored 31 in the 2nd half.

Yeah. "We", and "They". Thats a different conversation about the overall result. "He" is the issue. If you single out the QB, which was the context of those comments, the performance was ugly.

Ugly isn't accurate.  Mediocre is.

Remember when we played Dallas?

Nope, he hasnt

Everyone talks about taking Jefferson instead of Reagor.  Wish they would have taken Higgins.   He's not as good as JJ but still very good.

They could have taken 5 other guys all after where Reagor was taken and would have been better off. Jefferson, Higgins, Aiyuk, Claypool, Pittman Jr. It’s why it was much more of a failure than the JJAW over Metcalf selection. At least with that they only missed on one guy. With the Reagor pick, they had him scouted better than 5 other guys who have outperformed him.

I think it just shows we are an average to slightly above average team.

We beat the teams we are supposed to but aren't on the level of good, playoff teams......at least not yet.

no. that was not mediocre. not even close.

We don't always do that, see the Giants 3 weeks ago

I remember a lot of games.  Dallas isn't as good as they were then and we aren't as bad.  Personally, I hope we play Dallas in the playoffs and win on a last second field goal, 27-26.

What good team hasn’t lost a game to a team they shouldn’t have?

Yeah and the Chargers lost to the Texans today.

And the Bills lost to the Jags a few weeks ago.

And the Vikes lost to the Lions.

It's the NFL....it happens sometimes.

You are not impressed with 206 yards of total offense from Hurts ??

I mean, Joe Burrow outrushed Hurts today, and he threw for 326 yards more than Hurts.

The Giants and COVID beat the Giants today too.

True, but the Eagles have mostly done a good job of taking care of lesser opponents.  This is a team that absolutely has the chance to steal a game or two in the playoffs.

Was he 59?  Tall and lanky looking guy?  Couldn't tell if I saw that number out there but thought I did.

There is no question with Jalen Hurts that he will work to improve.  That is all he does.
