It's not negativity, it's being realistic.  If you want to have an outlook that Hurts can possibly be a middle of the pack starter then go for it.  If you think he can be a top 15 QB, then I'm sorry.

When did I say that?  If you pay attention, which I think you don't, you would know I'm nothing but realistic.

Foles clutch as always...miss that guy.

I've been watching the game via Red Zone.  For all his imperfections, Foles has a knack at this time of the year.

This is a team that absolutely has the chance to steal a game or two in the playoffs.

We gave not beaten a team with a winning record, we have not even beaten a team that is .500

Everyone talks about taking Jefferson instead of Reagor.  Wish they would have taken Higgins.   He's not as good as JJ but still very good.

No worries... there's about 5 guys that would have been better than Reagor at that spot.  At least 5... might be more.

I do like the fact that Foles winning this game costs the Giants a draft slot or two. Win, win, win

Plus for Foles, he beats his fellow draftee

Chris Simms shouts out Hurts on NBC just now as having the best throw today with his deep ball to DeVonta.

I agree I think he should be given a shot to be the QB next season.

I have this crazy notion that he and Minshew should have to actually battle to prove who 'earns' the spot as the placeholder until a legit NFL starting caliber QB comes along.

Honestly, who cares?  If you don't think this is a good team, why not enjoy when it does win?  Since when isn't a win against the stinkin' crap sucking Gnats not a fun Sunday?

But come playoff time we will have the leagues best offensive line and running game with a team that is confident behind it.  Underdog mentality and all of that.  This team is capable of a first round upset.  They can't play like they did on offense if the first half today but they have the ability to beat most teams in the league if they manage to put it together for 4 quarters.

Ugly isn't accurate.  Mediocre is.

Ugly is how to describe the INT that he threw, that was called back.  The fumble... doing exactly the same thing that got him yelled at by Sirianni last game, and ugly is how to describe those deep balls to Smith and Watkins.  Fortunately, they were completed, but not due to his accuracy, they were bad throws.

Wasnt a great throw, it was a great adjustment by Smith, if Smith doesnt  adjust to that ball by stopping on a dime and high pointing it it's most likely a pick.

It was the correct read and an ok throw but the shout out should go to Smith who made a great adjustment to the ball.

Sounds like he broke his hand

They could have taken 5 other guys all after where Reagor was taken and would have been better off. Jefferson, Higgins, Aiyuk, Claypool, Pittman Jr. It’s why it was much more of a failure than the JJAW over Metcalf selection. At least with that they only missed on one guy. With the Reagor pick, they had him scouted better than 5 other guys who have outperformed him.

Good number.

Chargers and Vikings are average teams too.  Bad examples.

Point is teams lose to teams they aren't supposed to.

Chargers and Bills are both playoff caliber teams which is what we were talking about.

I just looked at that bowl pickem and I think Bacarty is in the lead at 8-7. This is pathetic. Only 5 participants, and we all suck.

Yeah no crap, average teams lose to bad teams on occasion.  Heck of a revelation.  Welcome to 40 years ago.  The real point is that Jalen Hurts sucks and is part of the reason why this team is average.  Seems I should give Sirianni more credit.

To be in playoff contention, and 9 or 10 wins in spite of Hurts is not coach of the year candidacy. Its coach of the century stuff. Especially when you consider how there is no chance Howie assembled a competitive roster cause obviously he sucks too, and we have no money, and all of his draft picks and free agent signings suck.

I dont know how Nick Sirianni si doing this.

To hear so many talk about it, you'd think it was.  Completely inconceivable.

There is no point of bowl pick em's anymore with the transfer portal, opt outs, coaching changes, etc.  Bowl season is ruined outside of the playoffs.  The only thing the NCAA can do to save the sinking ship is expand the playoffs.

It’s dumblebear.  Good news is that I’m in 3rd place.  Bad news is it seems only 3 people made picks.

I dont think thats dumble bear. He is banned. There is no way he was here to click the link and enter. Im pretty sure its bacarty.

I really want to give him credit for that one - that was a really nice throw… not sure he could do it twice though, womp womp.
