Except that he throws in the Redzone every game. But hey, can't come in the blog and expect anyone to be grounded within reality when it comes to discussing Hurts.

Pot meet kettle.

Outside antennae. But we couldn't watch ABC so I never saw Monday night football until I got married and got cable.

I'm one of the few that are actually honest about Hurts here.  Everyone else is so far off the reservation with their hate that there isn't any middle ground ever.  This echo chamber is so detached from reality.

You are the same person who said his ONLY flaw as a quarterback is that he's young.

Sure sounds like an objective middle ground to me.

And really I watched zero pregame of those stations. We were lucky when ESPN came along and offered NFL Primetime following Sundays late games (prior to Sunday Night Football)

Don't forget the UHF channels.   VHF vs. UHF.   Football was always on VHF... until Fox bought in... they were on UHF.

Inexperience is his main flaw, as is for most young QBs.  He has all of the physical and mental tools to develop into a good QB. By all accounts he has tremendous work ethic and leadership skills, he's someone who lives, breaths and eats football.  Any issue with his game right now whether it be timing, reading a defense, processing plays are all things that will improve over time with expierence and comfort in the offense as well as built chemistry with the skill players.

Nope, we only watched tv after dark and on Sundays for football or baseball. Otherwise I was outside.

Growing up on the West Coast after moving from Philly...the only Eagles highlights I could see were halftime highlights on MNF occasionally. At least until they got good with Vermeil and started appearing on MNF. I was also the remote control.

Granted I haven't watched as much as I'd like to to form a solid opinion, but every time I've seen Elam he seems dead from the neck up.  Good athlete, just no brain.

as a kid, you were expected to come home at dinner time , otherwise, you were expected to not be in the house. LOL

You went places without cell phones, or money, or bottles of water, you rode bikes without wearing helmets, and survived it all.
