Yeah it sucks.  They had the perfect format last year with 3 wild card games on Saturday and 3 on Sunday.  It was perfect, absolutely perfect.

Gotta say, the top of the 2022 draft class is not all that impressive.

-Hutchinson got completely neutralized today against future NFL linemen.

-Stingley is constantly injured, and had a bad sophomore season.

-Hamilton is coming off an injury and plays a devalued position.

-No Bona Fide #1 WR in the class, a bunch of very good ones.

-Neal is good, but both OTs from the 2021 draft were better prospects.

-Kayvon Thibodeaux has yet to face an elite O-Line.

-Dean is a beast, but is undersized.

-Not to mention the lack of great QB prospects.

This class has depth at DE, WR, and CB, but the elite prospects have been better in previous years.

 Burks is a bonafide number 1 WO

 I dont think Dean is 5 ft 10

Plenty of these guys would make us better immediately.

I'll take an undersized Dean over 6-2 240 Alex Singleton every day of the week.  There are some guys who no matter their size just make impact plays.  Dean is one of those guys.  He makes a team better.  I'm not 100% sold on Edwards yet but if you have him and Dean as your two main LB, that's one hell of an improvement.  Maybe Davion Taylor can stay healthy and add his elite athletic 22mph traits to the mix.

Agreed, he’s all over the field and can play from Day 1. The defense needs a talent upgrade in the worst way, it’s been far to long since we added a LB who you don’t have to take off the field.
