He’s getting crushed, wonder if it cost him a top 5 pick.

Doubt it.  He's still a top player in this draft.  Thibodeaux didn't have an incredible season in the PAC 12 and he'll go high.  Hutchinson will go early.

Hutchinson has never looked to be a top 5 guy to me, like the Bosas. He may test with some straight line speed but I don’t see the lateral twitch or bend from him.

Hutchinson was projected as the number 1 pick by a lot of draft sites, Jacksonville and Detroit, whomever, now may have different plans.
It should move Jermaine Johnson up, in 2020 with Georgia he beat up on Evan Neal, through him, under and around him.

Who knows what teams think of Hutchinson at this point.  I think the projection for him at #1 was based on Detroit having the first pick and that he had a great game against Ohio State.  It wasn’t based on real information about how he’s being seen by teams.

Pitt?  They lost Thursday, and Picketts replacement had his collarbone broken, in a meaningless Bowl Game.

Corral is playing against Baylor in the Sugar Bowl.

RTK is going on his media tour trying to discredit any QB the Eagles may acquire that would take Hurts job.  Gonna be a long list, he has his work cut out for him.

Trying to slam Pickett for doing the right thing, talking about Minshew’s trade value in another thread.  Can’t wait to see him slander Carson Strong and Matt Corral, then Rodgers and Wilson with utter nonsense.

Pickett should have played, it's not a high risk position (unlike say RB), and he needs to show film performing against top opponents.

Clemson and Wake Forest were the only ranked teams Pitt played all season.

Burks ,Tre Williams ,Ridgeway , Pool , some razorbacks i will be watching

PS might be the worst coached  team

Pitts QB broke his collarbone.  If it’s a playoff with the National Championship at stake, I’d agree with you, or a big bowl game like the Rose, or Orange Bowl.  Other than that it’s not worth the risk.  Wentz was taken 2nd, and it’s not like ND has a tough schedule.

I could say the same about Matt Corral playing today, he may put himself in position to be the 1st QB taken, or by having bad game, even getting injured, cost himself millions.

He needs to perform in The Soup Bowl or The Toilet Bowl to increase his draft stock?

Nah.  NFL teams need QBs; lots of teams — at least 8 NFL teams.  Even if there were only 3 NFL teams looking for a change at QB, name 3 draft prospects better than Pickett.  If your answer is higher than 0, you’re wrong.  Corral and Willis are scampering midgets, even Howell is about 6-foot-nothing.

Pickett isn’t a great QB prospect but he’s the best one in this draft class

For anyone doubting Hutchinson after 1 game, review this lesson on AJ Terrell. One of my guys. And anytime I posted about him, someone brought up the game against LSU and how Chase dominated him.

One game does not make a career. Terrell was still a hell of a player and prospect. Hutchinson is still a hell of a prospect.

they ever get Jefferson fine tuned and he will be one  hell of a QB

Culture is back with this team which is pretty incredible given the dumpster fire last year.

Years ago they didn’t, but it’s more common now to get ready for the Senior bowl & draft and not risk injury. If he was a 3rd-5th round pick, maybe, but being a possible top 10 pick?  all that money, it’s not worth the risk. No GM’s will care.
On the other side, Hutchinson did play in an important playoff game, and the football world is sheeting all over him. At the combine every team is gonna ask him how it felt to not matter, good times.

This is what it cost Jaylon Smith, he was never the same after that injury. Hopefully Devin Lloyd comes out of the Rose Bowl unscathed, as if I didn’t just jinx him.

Has there been any instance though of a QB skipping out on a bowl game to prepare for the draft?

This made me crack up. You DVR the games and stay off ESPN/social media or something? Or are you kidding?

It came on right after the Georgia-Michigan game on ESPN.  I though it was live.

The QB playing in his place breaking his collarbone disagrees

You don’t see the bend? SMH.🤦‍♂️

lol at defending the ultimate loser bail on your team mentality for a QB to bail on the bowl game.  A QB that was absolute trash for 3 years in college and as a result they never really played in any sort of relevant bowl game.  He has a good senior year and they get to a quality bowl only for him to bail on the team.

I want no part of that.

yea that is hardly the case , plenty of bend  and pass rush moves , i do think he needs to get stronger though .

Why is it OK for other players to bail before bowl games, but not the QB ??

It's hard to judge college QBs against most college defenses, b/c they get too many easy thorws

Ridder got exposed against a good defense, he stared down his first read, which is why he had so many passes deflected.
