What an absolutely delusional point of view that you have.  The football team just had the best season that university has had since the early 80s and were playing in their biggest bowl game since the early 80s.  You are kidding yourself if you don't think those kids, those seniors are competitors.  That after that great season that they didn't want to cap it off with a win in the Peach Bowl.  Instead this kid who has so little competitive spirit to him and care for his teammates makes the most selfish decision.

Every NFL GM is going to question his heart and commitment.  It's disgraceful what he did to his teammates.  Major red flag.

They will ask him about it, and if he falls to round 3 you will be right, if he gets drafted in the 1st, I’m right.
Btw, are you this worried about him because you know Howie personally went to a few of his games this season?  Or did he go to see Howell, who bailed a year early on his team that SOB!!

Im excited for tomorrows game.

But I have a slight feeling of impending doom. I dont trust Boston Scott, and Kenny Gainwell to keep the run game running effectively enough to carry the team.

But, I hope they do.

Is anyone still not excited for potential playoff football after seeing the two snippets of Kelce's speech?

I don't doubt that he will probably be drafted in the first round.  Lot of QB desperate teams.  But whoever does draft him in the first it will be a mistake for them in the long run.  QBs who lack the love for the game, lack leadership and lacks a connection and care for his teammates are QBs who bust.

What happens if he goes in the middle of the 2nd?

So you are saying winning game one of a football season is just as important as the Super Bowl?  Gotcha.

Wow... you really missed the mark with that one.  Quite the false equivalence, but nice try.
Strike 1 - College versus pro... contract versus scholarship status.
Strike 2 - I was comparing one bowl game to another.

Why is the National Championship a more meaningful game in the grand scheme of personal economics than the Bahamas Bowl?   It really isn't for the player with their sites set on the NFL as their only goal.

That’s why you love Hurts, he was so unselfish that he purposely got benched so Tua could get a chance to play, thats a real teammate, he even stayed his entire Junior season cheering on Tua

He probably let Tua use his mouth as a urinal like @olsilverhair does on Friday nights at the shelter, that’s who I want on my NFL franchise Hurts and @olsilverhair because they’ll take it on the chin when it counts!!!

Anyone else cut their Dogs nails? Holy s___ ! Every time I do it it turns into a wrestling match … and with an 85lb Lab I seem to never win.

Yup.  My 80lb labradoodle hates it.   Only once did I nick her quick... but man did I feel terrible.  I felt worse than she did I think.

How the hell is this argument still going on

Because you have to trim your dog's nails.   It's a pain... but it's necessary.

I think Howard is going to play his designation is questionable, which is the lowest designation to get while still having one on the injury report.   They signed Kerryon Johnson to  the PS last week and protected Huntley, yet didn’t elevate either, opting instead to elevate you boy, from my alma mater, Malveaux and Stevens.   I am sure you noted your favorite DE, tongue firmly in cheek, Barnett from the Covid list as well.  Chachere is the only regular, squad player on the Covid list and Bradley is back so STs should be hurt.

I’ve done that before. Feel like ish.
My guy has 4-5 clear nails which are easy, the dark ones with him pulling his paw away from me becomes quite difficult.

Must be nice.  My girl's nails are all black.   Of course, she's black... so that figures.

Strike??   National Championships actually mean something, ask Tebow who wouldn’t be a blip on anyones radar without one. Ask all the guys in the NFL who have won a National Title, and I bet none of them say " I don’t care, I’m just happy to be a Jaguar or a Texan”

GTFOH, next you’ll say Mac Jones, Tua, and Burrow are recognized all over the South for their great NFL careers.

Flour works great as an immediate blood stopper, cutting them too short has happened to almost everyone.

Finished sir, I’m off to watch Cobra Kai.

OSU #11 can track a deep ball nicely and has some RAC. But I’m done with unpronounceable, hyphenated, last names.

I didn't say it was meaningless, I said if the goal is NFL status... then what's the difference.  Nick Bosa backed out of his last collegiate season in October... long before a NC was on the horizon or not.

All I'm saying is, if you don't see the issue with a player backing out of any bowl game, then you should have that same standard for the NC playoff/game as well.  What does it matter to you if they do or don't play?  If that's the business decision they make... then why do you care?   It seems like you have a double standard.  Peach Bowl they can skip... but NC game they can't.  Why does it matter to you?

Personally, I don't like the skipping out by any of these guys for any of these games.  Should an NFL player about to hit free agency quit on his NFL team for the final game or two or more if they aren't likely to be playing for a championship?  Where's the line of an appropriate business decision versus an inappropriate one?  I don't like when any player backs out of any game, but I don't differentiate either.  I get why some skip out, and I get why some don't.  And personally, if it came down to the player who skipped versus the player that didn't... I take the one that didn't 100% of the time.  My personal opinion, you are welcome to yours.  I just wanted to question why you have a double standard for one game over another.

Thanks.  We used a corn starch/baking soda mix.  And she was quite forgiving... just made the nail procedure harder though.

It would be nice to have Howard for however many drives he can stay healthy for.

My dog weighs 75 and yeah it's not worth it, she just gets all sorts of crazy and so do I.

Just finished it, great season, pissed I'll have to wait another year to see the next.

Scares me to do it.  I have groomers or the vet do it.  Every other nail on my Basset is black and we can’t see the blood lines.  The whole process gives me the skeeves.

I certainly don’t enjoy doing it but man it’s a process between the sad face and wrestling match. Smh. At least I got the next 6-8 weeks off.

Because people can't stop arguing with someone who's clearly a troll.
