11 for 12 now.

And that is why there shouldn't be so many camera people around the field.   We have such great zoom capability now... why do they need to be within 2 yards of the field of play?

The defensive scheme is so weak.  Way too soft.

They barely get the angles they need now.

They could put cameras in all of the pylons… basketball is really nuts.

Because people would get in the way of the shot

Somehow Seals Jones got the worst of it despite being the one with the helmet and pads

The comms/production in this NFL have been have been awful this season; Fox in particular have been gross.

If anything we need more camera angles.  Too many times you get a review for a play and it's inconclusive due to a missing view.

that blonde guy in the khaki pants got the worst of it. His head probably cracked the stadium wall. holy cow.

It looks like nothing happened to Seals-Jones but he is taking a nap.

weird.

I do sidelines for games at the high school level... the rule is simple.  The play is coming towards you... you back out of there as quick as you can.

BUT.. a cameraman with his face in the camera can't always see the players coming, and with those large machines, can't move quickly.   Unnecessary in today's technology that anyone needs to be that close to the field.  Back them up 5 yards.  No need for anyone that's not an actual part of the game to be that close to the action.

That's not due to being closer to the field, that's due to not knowing where they need to focus the cameras.

Meanwhile, I think they have plenty of angles.  Far too much reliance on replay and video evidence.

who is the backup TE that is about to light us up now?

Sure.  Does having more cameras mean they need to be that close?   Nope.

But, hey let's throw player safety out the window in the name of more camera angles for the chance of maybe one play in 500 being confirmed or overturned because of it.   Of course, adding more cameras in that area means more injuries than the number of plays that would be changed due to the new cameras being added.

K time to take the lead for good
