QB has to be one of the 4.

Thought that might be the case too.

But nobody in the 2022 class excites me.

One thing to keep in mind, other than Hurts, they ran 27 times for 74 yards. No way they win this game without Hurts.

The OL not only failed to establish the run, they were subpar pass blocking. Not their best game.

That’s quite an assumption.

Listen.   I never said I was worried about the cap.  I’m just arguing the notion that we are in "great cap shape”.  That’s inaccurate.  I don’t think it will matter.  Because we don’t have a QB of the future and we still have the same twerp making our picks.

That’s more of the issue is the inconsistency with draft picks and particularly first round picks. 2016 they did well. 2017 has been a bad draft considering Barnett turned out to be the best player (and he’s really not that good) and is gone after this year (I’d say douglas but he didn’t do it here). 2018 draft was good. Then 2019 very disappointing considering we had 3 picks inside the top 60 and our best pick from that draft is an injury prone RB who might not be here in 2023. Then 2020 you miss on your first rounder when you could’ve had an pro bowl caliber WR, hurts is an unknown long term, Taylor can’t stay healthy and you got some solid depth. This past draft looks good so far. You have 3 firsts and 5 picks in the top 100 they need to have a good draft. The issue really is the eagles have been underwhelming when picking somewhere between 14-30 in the first round since reid has left.

9-7 in a transition year is a successful season. Sirianni and Howie deserve credit.

If you had a real passing QB you wont need a running QB.  So yeah.  I wonder how GB will win this game tonight?

How many teams have Aaron Rodgers level QBs? I’d say 3 at most.

I swear I heard the commentators say DeVonta Smith and not Davante Adams

I’ll give NS some credit.  I refuse to give Howie any.  Sure, he swept up the ashes in a nice neat pile.  Cool.  Problem is, he’s the one who started the fire.

Part of that fire gave us a ring.

the fire which brought you a super bowl.... minor detail.

Can also credit the 2020 eagles for finishing dead last the previous year. It’s a much easier schedule when you get the jets instead of bills or New England and lions instead of Vikings or GB.

I was about to say you don't get credit for putting out a fire you started lol.

4 players? Is this sarcasm?

Reggie White, Lawrence Taylor, Ronnie Lott, Joe Montana … problem solved.

I still want Howie fired

Yeah. But I can't get over the Reagor over Jefferson insanity.

Should be 9-0

Nice try.

there was no try at anything. Just pointed out the obvious.

why is green bay struggling to put away a Sean Mannion lead Vikings team that was only mediocre to begin with?

Montana didn’t run like Hurts.  We needed those rush yards.

I’d take my chances anyway.

4th time making the playoffs in the last 5 years? That's pretty darn good.

Why couldn't he have just drafted JJ over Reagor...

Do people still honestly worry about the cap?

Remember all those years everyone said Washington was going to be in cap hell and pay for their crazy spending and  yet they never really got there?

good times…

Green Bay struggled against injury-riddled Baltimore & Covid ravaged Browns on 5 days rest.

I’ve been consistent for a year in here that my criticism of Lowie has been post SB moves.  So like I said.  Nice try.

Very disingenuous to be critical of that while ignoring the super bowl win. Thats extreme bias.

He got lucky, and his formula struck out the next 3 years
