He's not a kid.  He's a grown man.  And it's safe for us to share our opinions and still be fans.  What we say doesn't effect the outcome of the game and shouldn't effect anyone else's mood in here.  It shouldn't.

It will affect moods. Especially if we're already pissed of as to how the game is going (if you are a supporter of whatever player). That said you are right it probably shouldn't.

Dude, I don't like Hurts but I have supported him every game. I want to win, if Hurts proves me wrong and he's enough to win. So be it. That said just like every other player if he doesn't play well I will post that.

I wasn’t pointing at you really green,  you just happened to be there in front of my finger.  Lol

But you have to admit that nobody can post anything positive about hurts without more than one person challenging them

Why can't people have the opinion that he's not a good quarterback without being berated for it?

Beating a dead horse here, myself (and others) have been called racists, fake fans, terrible human beings, etc over thinking our QB play is poor. Grown men accuse someone of being racist for criticizing an NFL player.

That's okay?

Well that’s just as bad.  Agree.

I don't believe in the guy.  I hope he proves me wrong.  I'm not going to rehash all of the reasons why I don't believe in him.  You had all season to read those opinions.  And you still don't get it.  I don't get why someone like you is so bought in on a one read and run QB who doesn't have a lot of arm talent and will eventually get hurt because he relies way too much on his legs.  Why?  I don't get it....

But I said GO JALEN!!

But WHY?  He DONT GET IT!!!  WHY?

The opposite is also true.  Sad state of the world, everything is always polarized and polarizing.

You're greatly diminishing the value of Brown to Brady and that team by labeling him simply as a distraction.  Especially with Godwin out too.

He is not a distraction, he is a certified idiot.  He will never get another gig in the league, and Tampa Bay will not miss him.

I just am happy he is progressing at a qb, that he is very athletic, that the team and coaches are behind him, and that he led us to 5 more wins this season (4 actually cuz minshew won one).  And that he is affordable to a team that was in cap hell

I see his faults too and hold out hope he gets better there but too many positive attributes it’s hard for me to give up on him

It’s kind of funny people pointing out how easy the Eagles back half of the schedule is, and that’s how they got to the playoffs.  It should have been apparent to everyone when the schedule came out that the back half was a cakewalk compared to the first half.  I had the Eagles at 2-7 for the first half and 5-3 on the back half.  They exceeded my expectations.  But beating up on the league’s weak teams is what the NFL is all about.

The Ravens were 6-5 last season, beat 5 cream puffs and made the playoffs at 11-5

The Bucs were 7-5 last season, beat 4 cream puffs and rode the momentum all the way in

Obviously those 2 teams had better rosters than the current Eagles, but the team did what it is supposed to do and they’re fully deserving of a playoff berth.  Making the playoffs is a great thing for this current roster because it will raise expectations faster.  Next season the expectations will be 11-12 wins.

The likely outcome to this season will be a 38-20 type of loss in the wildcard round — but so what?  Folks around here act like that’s the worst thing that could happen for the development of a contending franchise

Hindsight. When the schedule came out people were complaining about the bye week and the group of division games at the end. Lots were expecting the division to be a lot tougher. Especially the Skins to be a lot better than what they are

When April comes around people will be singing a different tune

Never forget.

I’m still in awe of his decision to side step some falling fans and help one of them up. Any other QB would have just given them a kick to the ribs while they were down and called them nerds.

Well, at least when it comes to Linemen, they have a tradition.

Not so sure about them as wide receivers or cornerbacks.

People were saying he had ice in his veins over it. LMFAO.

Our bar is so low that Hurts scoring 20 against a 6 win team with half of their secondary out is "great".

One thing I've noticed over the year is the Hurts clan gives him 10,000% credit for the most basic, nonsensical things that any human or athlete probably does daily. And its goes back to college.

WTF is all the uproar about?  It’s been mentioned on Podcasts and tweets how calm and cool Hurts was when the railing collapsed, like Jeff George or Jay Cutler would of put one of the fans in a figure four FFS.
To me, he looked down at the fans the same way he looked at the fumble in the end zone I believe during the Raiders game, like "why are you here”.
