Is he still training for the match, cause I don't think that's how time works?

He lost to former basketball player Deron Williams in a split decision match. It was a bad fight from both of them lol

Plus, they just opened a showroom in Xinjiang.

So looks like the Eagles are going to be sitting/resting many starters while Dallas will be playing like its a must win as it could affect their seeding.   Could get ugly.

One thing we all know is how well the Cowboys respond to pressure and expectations

If the Eagles are going to sit most or all their starters I'd be sending blitzes all game trying to rough Dakota up a little bit.

That’s the thing.  He welcomes the social media stuff.  Promo pics. Etc..  he can be soft spoken but also self absorbed.  That’s how he comes across to me.

Hurts comes across as self-absorbed? This is funny because there's absolutely zero evidence that this is the case, and multiple reports of him doing things - lifting weights with the oline, taking teammates out to dinner - that are the complete opposite of self-absorbed.

Meanwhile, the opposite was true of Wentz. There were numerous reports that he didn't connect well with teammates. And, ultimately, he bailed on the team. When the going got tough, he got going, taking his big sack of money with him.

He is self absorbed because we hear about every good deed he does.  Nothing is kept out of the public eye.  He is trying to hard to be a good guy.

Off topic, but anybody following along with the James Webb space telescope? What an amazing feat of engineering. Makes me wish we as humans could dedicate ourselves to advances like this instead of militaristic toys. I understand some of those "toys” have applications that can be used by NASA, but if the funding was reversed I wonder what could be…

And not just the USA, but China, Russia, too

It’s staggering to think what humanity could accomplish if governments could stop focusing on achieving hegemony and competing against the perceived threats. But in the words of Harley Flanagan, world peace can’t be done and all you hippies need to face reality.

That's not self-absorbed. That's called marketing, and the team literally has a department that does that stuff. That's how I know Jason Kelce bartended for charity this past summer. They did a whole campaign about his man of the year nomination. Is he self-absorbed?

I guess you live in the upside down where lifting weights with the oline and staying in Philly during the bye week to work on your game is self-absorbed while duck hunting in North Dakota is taking one for the team.

Hey nice novel Stephen King

No kidding.  That was page 3 and it still took several more posts to get through.  But thanks for reminding me why I don't spend that much energy in long winded debates in here that often anymore.  The truth was told over and over.  But some would rather hold on to misinformation and spread falsehoods because the pain of being wrong is harder to live with than admitting that they were wrong.  Not a great way to live life.

That's how it seems to me too and part of the reason I'm not a huge fan.  Goes back to the training videos...the guy put serious production behind 30 second clips of him throwing passes.  Followed by talking in 3rd person and so on.  He seems to be a good dude but that doesn't mean he isn't full of himself.  The stuff today was next level IMO.

I would have been perfectly fine if he wrote a letter to the Redskins and didn't tell anyone about it.  It almost comes across as those people who buy someone a cup of coffee or pay for a strangers groceries and then immediately post about it on social media.  They want self recognition for doing something good, rather than doing something good and going about their day.  On top of that, the content of the letter (my first reaction was to help....however I displayed a calm composure).  Sounds full of himself. The whole letter actually sounds borderline narcassistic.  I'm not saying he is one or anything close to one.  Just how it comes off to me after dealing with a horrible brother-in-law and seeing how he communicates.

Then you had the Covid comments to follow up.

Well said.  He is seeking praise for every little thing.  And he called it a near tragic event when they fell 6-8 feet.

Talk about over reading. The COVID comments were simply a statement that as a key member of the team he was taking all reasonable precautions to insure he was available (an dimplicitly hoping his teammates would as well). Compare to Wentz who didn't, and was less than 100% in a key game in a playoff drive.

You guys have got to be kidding me. It was a near tragic event. The one dude landed straight on his head and the camera man had the railing land on him with multiple people landing on the railing. Jalen did the right thing by not freaking out and helping people up. He wrote a letter asking they fix this situation. He’s not asking for praise. He’s asking the NFL fix this stadium situation. But way to write this off to hate on Hurts. Pretty disgusting guys.

Why was the letter all over social media ??

Not sure you could call it tragic as in someone possibly dying.  But it is still very dangerous.  Some of those fans could have broken a leg or arm or maybe hit their heads on something.

Did anyone else notice our rg (I think it was herbig) pull his man to the ground and lay on top of him during the crucial 3rd and 14? What a great play by him

Probably to put pressure on the NFL to actually fix the stadium situation. It goes on deaf ears without public awareness. They can’t sweep it under the rug and ignore it now. You will probably see multiple players and the NFLPA following suit this offseason. It needs addressed and has for awhile with their stadium. The fact that you tried to turn this into a praise thing for him makes you look bad, not him.

One of those guys just about went head first into the opposite wall of the tunnel without getting his hands up. Another inch and that guy could be on a backboard. The kicky camera guy lucked out, that he wasn’t another foot over - as the gate and six people would’ve fell on his head.

Public awareness ??  I have seen the video over 100 times on every social media / sports site.

Yeah, and you don’t think the NFL is trying to let it blow over? He is speaking out and putting pressure on them to make sure it’s fixed.

You can speak all the random words you want. You hate him, you want him to fail. You’re using this of all things to try and make him look bad. It’s disgusting dude. Give it up. No one believes you ever wanted him to succeed. You can’t say the things you do and then ride the fence when people hold you accountable.

super ugly man, unacceptable really. I mean wow.
