Well they are winning. No team outside the Patriots has more than 2 SB wins in that time. We have 1.

Patriots had Brady, Colts had Manning. Packers had Favre and Rodgers. Eagles had what? Yet we are 4th in playoff appearances in 26 years.

Well let’s drill down.

Wentz snap count, from rookie year up:

1125, 881, 724

Sanders snap count first 3 years:

613, 602, 426.

Try again sparky

Wentz total snaps first 3 years - 2730

Sanders total snaps - 1641

Difference of 1,089, which is basically 2 seasons for Sanders

You brought up Wentz in the first place.

You don’t get it. You’re sticking to this "games played” thing. How many games did Sanders have to leave early due to injury? Or leave for stretches to come back later in the game?

So of course an RB in a committee won’t have the same snaps as the QB, but for Sanders being such a stud according to you, you’d think he’d be faaar closer to Wentz’s snap counts. Instead, Wentz effectively had 1100 more snaps in his first three years. Based on his career so far, it would take Sanders two full seasons to reach that amount alone.

Wentz always has been more durable than Miles "Glass” Sanders.

Well, Ezekiel Elliot for his career has had

713, 589 (only 10 games), 890, 937, 789, and 772 snaps. So we can compare to QBs, and understand it will always be less. I stated that above but you refuse to acknowledge it. Sanders is not as durable as Wentz, it’s simple.

Multiple teams have won multiple superbowls during that time period. Broncos, Rams, Giants, Buccaneers, Packers, Steelers, and Ravens

At WR, I kind of like Pierce in round 3. Hes the bigger WR you kind of gravitate towards to put opposite Smith. Yet, hes not just a slow possession guy. The amount of back shoulders Ridder loved to throw him, and being White kind of naturally reminds you of Jordy Nelson. But Nelson became a great route runner and full well rounded WR who was damn near physically dominant. Im not sure Pierce is all out dominant, at least not yet. But he does make a bunch of tough grabs. Im not sure hes a great route runner yet. But his skillset is probably fine for a #2 WR right away. To me he resembles a Gallup or Golladay type.

I checked him out and I liked the hands, wingspan. Maybe a Cooper Kupp type - frenetic YAC ability and long strider for sneaky deep speed. I didn’t see the stop and go twitch, but I’m watching highlight videos where he’s taking the top off most of the time.

So looks like the Eagles are going to be sitting/resting many starters while Dallas will be playing like its a must win as it could affect their seeding.   Could get ugly.

Only ugly if you take it seriously.

I edited already, i meant to say more than 2 SBs

but the rams have 1, packers had favre and rodgers, bucs had tb, broncos had manning

giants had another manning twice, steelers had ben. Ravens had crazy defenses both years

Eagles got 1. It was amazing. BUT the point is they win more than most teams do.

All those teams have had HOF QBs but the ravens. The eagles haven’t. Yet we still win.

You right about the rams, Denver has more than 2 still tho, and truth be told Mcnabb is a fringe HOF that held that position for years

You’re right about Denver. Elway though. I like McNabb but he will never make the HOF

Edit: That make us the 7th best organization in 25 years. Without a HOF QB.

He's borderline, but my point is he was forsure a franchise qb, and our success in the regular season is a big part due to him. Defense and jj get a lot of credit, but do you remember who donovan was throwing too? Pinkston, Thrash, Mitchell...nothing to brag about. He did have westbrook though, and our offense was good or bad depending on if he was playing

Talk about over reading. The COVID comments were simply a statement that as a key member of the team he was taking all reasonable precautions to insure he was available (an dimplicitly hoping his teammates would as well). Compare to Wentz who didn't, and was less than 100% in a key game in a playoff drive.

So he was comparing himself to Wentz? Interesting. That makes it sound worse.

You guys have got to be kidding me. It was a near tragic event. The one dude landed straight on his head and the camera man had the railing land on him with multiple people landing on the railing. Jalen did the right thing by not freaking out and helping people up. He wrote a letter asking they fix this situation. He’s not asking for praise. He’s asking the NFL fix this stadium situation. But way to write this off to hate on Hurts. Pretty disgusting guys.

And somehow some people used what he did to blab about his calmness under pressure as if the two incidents were somehow related. I've been in emergency situations and remained calm (that's how you normally survive). But you put me on a pro football field with a 300 lb lineman trying to literally crush me, I'm probably not going to be all that calm.

32 minutes ago, 4for4EaglesNest said:

No one is talking about Wentz.  He’s gone.  Get over it!  Yes.  Hurts loves himself.  That much is obvious.  It’s a generational thing, I get it.  But he’s got a little more of it than most, it appears.   Your blind love prevents you from seeing it.

Obsessed.  He’s gone.  Move on.

And since he brought up Wentz, surely he isn't calling the guy who started several charities including one to feed the hungry in Philly "self absorbed" . I wouldn't know except you quoted him

I don't think he was... but if he was... bad look.  I think that is just afan's take to compare it to Wentz.

There isn’t a correlation there either. This has nothing to do with him on the football field. But just because someone did that doesn’t mean it’s okay to take it to the other extreme to paint him in the worst way.

Pretty cool. Would never have seen any of that, even if I slowed it down.

In other news, I've finally figured out what the new name will be for the Washingteam.  Thinking about it now, it seems obvious.  They left all the necessary clues.

Feb. 2nd.  Groundhog Day.

It fits perfectly...

1 - They do the same things year after year and nothing ever seems to change for them.

2 - They plastered that date as the focal point.

3 - The mention of 'hog' in the name is a call back to the 80s, and the kids and grandkids of those kooks who used to dress as women with hogs noses will get a chance to walk in that great legacy.

4 - No branding issues... no one else owns the game Groundhogs.

That's how it seems to me too and part of the reason I'm not a huge fan.  Goes back to the training videos...the guy put serious production behind 30 second clips of him throwing passes.  Followed by talking in 3rd person and so on.  He seems to be a good dude but that doesn't mean he isn't full of himself.  The stuff today was next level IMO.

I would have been perfectly fine if he wrote a letter to the Redskins and didn't tell anyone about it.  It almost comes across as those people who buy someone a cup of coffee or pay for a strangers groceries and then immediately post about it on social media.  They want self recognition for doing something good, rather than doing something good and going about their day.  On top of that, the content of the letter (my first reaction was to help....however I displayed a calm composure).  Sounds full of himself. The whole letter actually sounds borderline narcassistic.  I'm not saying he is one or anything close to one.  Just how it comes off to me after dealing with a horrible brother-in-law and seeing how he communicates.

Then you had the Covid comments to follow up.

What exactly was wrong with what he said about COVID? I read and reread what he said and I am trying to figure out what was the problem with it. I am thinking that I am only seeing part of it.

As for the letter there is a part of my that makes me think that his agent or marketing agency is the one that created the letter, sent it out and published it online. It reads like that.
