There he goes again.  Completely flustered, shooting off in all directions.

Why don't you explain to me why Picket wouldn't hold out in the final year of a deal when he has already shown he has no issue at all of quitting on his team prior to a Bowl game purely for his own financial interests?

I have feet.

Explain to me why I won’t pull a Forest Gump and run for 3 years straight.

I think HBO would have to start censoring themselves for the first time ever

Posting this here, thought it was interesting, it was posted in the QB thread also.

I was curious on how Hurts' numbers look when I compared them to 2020, but it's hard obviously because of sample size and a different offense.

So I took Hurts' 3 full starts in 2020, which all had 30+ completion attempts, and compared them with his numbers in 2021 in games where he attempted 30+ passes.

2020: 55% completions 5/2 TD/INT ratio 85.5 QB Rating

2021: 60.9% completions 9/6 TD/INT ratio. 82.06 QB Rating

Not that much different aside from completion %, but who knows what Hurts would've been if he played a full 16 games in 2020. And also remember a lot of the Hurts completions in those games this season were in garbage time when the other team had a big league and played back on defense. Like vs the Chiefs and Dallas.

Not sure it means anything, but wanted to share nonetheless.

Well, lets prove that RTK is the only one who thinks Pickett is a selfish jerk with no leadership.  Vote away.

If he wasn't talked about as a possible Eagles draft pick you wouldn't even care.  So what about Bosa leaving Ohio State and they got to a meaningful bowl game, what about all the other players I listed ??

Oh that's right, this is all about the possibility of Pickett being drafted and replacing your man crush, and it is the reason you are the only person in the world who cares.

You gonna sell him that bridge as well ???????

Bosa doesn't play QB.  Bosa is also a supremely talented with the level of technique that comes from being raised in a family of professional football players.  Pickett is just a guy who was unimpressive his first 4 years of college but thanks to COVID he was able to play a 5th season where he had a breakout year.

Only time will tell when we see how Pickett's pro career actually players out, where ever that will be.  To quit on your team like that as a QB is very alarming to me.  I couldn't imagine Brady doing that.  I couldn't even imagine guys like Wentz or Foles doing that.   You can put me on record, I just don't think Pickett will be very successful in the NFL.  If he does last awhile I see him as a QB that will likely wear out his stay at places soon and just bounce around a lot.

I never said you wouldn't.

Yea, that was a bad one.

See below. You have no idea who is in the class, what picks we have, and how those picks will be slotted.

Of course. Still shouldn't force a decision.

things are getting a little crazy up in here

It has reached the level where pretty much any story about him is plausible.

ANY other player in the NFL is in that headline and it's like "nah, that's just tabloid nonsense".  But AB?  Eh...wouldn't entirely shock me.

This is some wild conjecture right here.  You are doing some creative gymnastics to connect these dots.

I bet we win with backups and the Cowboys look like trash, only to play them again in the playoffs and reverse the roles.

McCaffrey signed hew new contract on April 16th, well before he would have even had a chance to hold out.

Can you explain me though why you think Pickett isn't the type of person who would hold out rather than playing the final year of their deal?  I'm all for hearing a logical thought process on that from your end.

RTK everybody, the paradigm of logic

I don't see that. I think we take a beating tomorrow because we will be resting key players as we should.  Let Dallas get a big head for beating our backups. Then, they will go into their playoff match with Arizona or whomever and they will think their issues are fixed.  I expect Dallas to lose in the wildcard round. I don't think we will see them.  It will be tough for us to win our WC game, too.

Lol I love A-rod.

Hurts is going to be the QB next year, book it. Pickett is meh, like every QB in this draft.

PIckett is a one year wonder who'll be the same age as Hurts as a rookie, he doesn't have a top arm and he's not a top athlete. Nor did he face top competition.

So what's his ceiling? Top 10, top 15? What would be the point then.

"I want a passer"

1. That makes no sense

2. If the Eagles drafted Pickett, you’d be slurpin Howie for the wise move. Since Pickett has such a high ceiling….

He might be the top choice if his interceptions were around 5.

This is the best highlight video of 2022 so far.
