I saw that as well, but I don't believe it. I don't think he would play this entire season just to pull that stunt. I know he's a dbag, but that's next level.

If it turned out to be true, his career would be over...not that he has that much time left to begin with.

He'd be better served to win the SB, steal the trophy,  then do an interview with Joe  Rogan explaining  he won't return it until the NFL funds the now defunct Cyber Ninjas to audit the Packers draft analysis process and NFL Covid testing procedures.  And if they don't comply with his demands he'll melt it down and make silver booties for his first born with whatever starlet is nuts enough to have children with him.

Meh, I got to 27 minutes

You barely saw AB show up.  As it goes on he becomes impossible to interview.  Defensive against every question. Endless rants.

Sounds like the average day here in the Blog

Don't know for sure. It's supposed to be from a "trusted source " but it could be bull crap. I'm just saying "if" it's true no interest in him from me.

When the guys who are better at Twitter get on maybe they can verify

I posted Rodgers response a few pages back. He said it was "the f’ing dumbest story he’s ever seen”.

Is this the most Anti-Climatic Eagles/Dallas Season Finale in history?   You would not have thought it was Dallas Week, this week, lol.   Playoffs have dominated the discussion.

Rodgers is an idiot, but ain't no one skipping the Superbowl over personal drama. AB is the only guy I know where that story is remotely believable.

Have the Eagles said they are sitting most starters yet?

No but many are on the Covid List and I'm sure it will played like a preseason game.  Also Dallas has several starters on O and D out because of the Covid List.  I won't be shocked if starters do a series  Ala Nick Vs Dallas our Super Bowl Season.   But I also won't be shocked if Minshew Mania gets the nod.    I would like Devonta to get some snaps since he's so close to Desean 's record.

Someone to watch today.

And for the Bobcats, there's LB/Swiss Army Knife Troy Andersen.....

Montana State's Troy Andersen named FCS ADA defensive player of the year | Montana State University | missoulian.com

Watson and Andersen are a couple of Day 3 possibilities for the Eagles. Both have accepted Senior Bowl invites, so they'll get to go against better competition than they are used to. Looking forward to see how they shape up in Mobile.

If the nfl didn’t expand the season, this game would have meant everything.

Boys 27  Birds 13

Boys lead all time 71-54  (ughh)

Minshew throws 1 int and 1 td

I thought the extra game was an out of conference game. Does that have an impact on playoff seeding?

The Jets we’re the team added to the schedule for the Eagles.

Sure, it gave them a win. Take it away we would be 8-7 and today is a win and in game. Saints played Titans and lost because of the extra game so they would be 8-7 also.

Yeah both teams won the extra game so it wouldn’t have changed anything.

You must have forgotten the Nate Sudfeld "breakout game" in 2017 where he completed an amazing 19 of 23 passes. The Eagles only gained 134 yards on those completions and he only led the Eagles to zero points, but it was obvious at that moment (to some people) that the Eagles would be better served to start him in the playoffs than Nick Foles, who was 4 of 11 for 39 yards and 1 INT and was coming off a disappointing game on Christmas against the Raiders.

That's where the biggest benefit for the Eagles came from.

17th games:
Eagles-Jets. (Eagles win)
Saints-Titans (Saints lose)
49ers-Bengals (49ers win)

Remove that game and all 3 are 8-7 with one game to play.  Only 1 would make the playoffs, as there wouldn't be 7 teams.  Big difference in this week without that extra game.

LOL, how could I forget.   That Goose egg still pisses me off on our Super Bowl Season.  Yes we beat them the first game, I just didn't like that score.    Dallas played their starters too and only got 6 points.  There were some calling for Suds over Nick to start too after Carson went down.

See above... big difference without that extra game.

Wouldn't even be a win and in... 49ers win, they get in over the Eagles.

I believe the word is 'unstoppable".

Question for the Blog: if Trey Lance next season has the same type of year Hurts just had, would the Niners be happy?

I was assuming there was still 7 seeds just no extra game. They would need to win to secure the 7th seed tonight otherwise they would spend all day tomorrow scoreboard watching and hoping to backdoor into the playoffs through others failures

Yeah... I'm still in denial that 7 teams is the new normal.

No

Eagles did benefit from a soft schedule, but they also won the games they had to win, PFR:

Bengals -2.2 (10-6) FO -3.6

Broncos -1.9 (7-9) FO -4.2

Eagles -1.7 (9-7) FO -5.1

Miami -1.2 (8-8) FO -3.7

Buf -1.0 (10-6) FO -4.2

NE -1.0 (10-6) FO -1.4

FO has them at 13th in team DVOA, 11th in weighted (toward end of season) DVOA.

That's about right, they improved from the bottom ten to the middle of the pack.
