Fowler and Herbstreit are much better than the regular MNF crew even with an NFL game.

I think I even said it last year, they are the best team in all of football

there are a lot of rbs who are better than the rbs the Eagles currently have.

I'd like a big, powerful one,  Fournette is a FA, Barkley could possibly be available affordably in a trade.

Bwahahahaha Barkley. No thanks, we will just draft one of the 5-8 viable day 3 guys in the draft.

Let me know if I'm missing any of you degenerates predicting a meaningless game

Here's a prediction.   Eagles 35-21.  Greg Ward 1 td pass, 1 td run, 1 td catch.  Tyree Jackson 1 td pass, 1 td run, 1 td catch.  I don't predict my prediction will be right.

He's basically a rookie.

But, the snaps leading up to the season were more important than tonight, imo.  I think they needed them to help the coaching staff get more familiar with him, and maybe they make the transition to a run first team sooner had he played in preseason.  But tonight... nah, they know who he is now, and while those snaps for him are still valuable, but then again injury is a bigger concern.

I just think that a young team and a young QB needs all the snaps they can get, for better or for worst, it's valuable to his development.  He's not an established vet that gets the luxury of 'rest'.

Will be very interesting to see what Minshew does behind a backup OL.

Get ready for a Nick Foles-like 7-TD game vs the Raiders.

Oh, I agree.  But, if I had a choice... the PS would have been my pick to play.  He does have a touch of an ankle injury right now.  So, I'll give him a pass.

I hear you 100% though.  Ultimately, this team always sits players when they can.  And that decision comes from the top.

Brett Toth at center?    Interesting.

It’ll probably be ugly as long as Dallas has its starters in, but this single game is a great experience for the backups. I’m excited to watch it. Let’s see if I still think that by halftime.

Excited to see how McPhearson looks. Great test.

I'm not excited, but I am intrigued.  Curious to see what our depth looks like... really looks like.

Let’s hope it’s a happy BirthTay.

I’ll show myself out.

I would say Minshew Mania would go up another level, but I see we are giving him practice squad players to play with so I expect he will look really bad against the Cowboys starters.

Greg Ward and Tyree Jackson AREN’T QBs anymore. You’re like the poster child for the morning after pill.

Wow,  you sure are a nasty pile of garbage aren't you?

Both Greg Ward and Tyree Jackson can do a better job, in the long run, at QB than Reid Sinnett.

How did OT Lane Johnson catch a TD pass?   OTs can't catch passes.   But it happened.  Maybe this conundrum can cause you to KYS?   Everyone loved the Lane Johnson catch, where he played End.  After Lane catches the TD,  it should be obvious that players are not limited to one position.  Some of us have known all along that players aren't limited to one position,  but even the most dense, like yourself, should understand after the Lane TD.

Because all the rival NFCE posters left. That place was full of them, zero ring jokes going back years.

That's probably why they left .   There is 1 Giant fan in there but I think that's it. Wonder what ever happened to that Cowboy fan Stephen.

I can predict it will look poorly against the Cowboys starters

They were just talking about trading the Stash on ESPN. Trade Hurts keep the Stash.

F Dallas!

It will be interesting. Dallas is down several starters on offense - Smith, Pollard (who has been better than Elliot), Jarwin and Gallup, plus their offensive line has been pretty shaky to the point that they have rotated starters quite a bit.

On defense they are missing three starters in the secondary and Parsons, which is huge. Their DTs are basically backups on any other team, so our backups should be okay. Dillard has a chance to shine against Lawrence, and Clark should get some help against Gregory from the TEs.

I expect us to go with a lot of 13 personnel and let Minshew and Gainwell try to win the game.

Listen, you’re clearly on the spectrum so I won’t beat you up too bad. Quite different to run one pattern on a play than learn how to play the HARDEST POSITION IN SPORTS. Seriously dude, everyone is tired of your dumb hot takes. They’re hot turds.

I can think of one upside of having Hurts on the roster approaching free agency.

Most of us know he stinks. But players buy in to the swag and hype him up.

I actually think there is a chance, that at least some players will see Hurts as a positive to come to philly. I know that sounds crazy. But players are dumb.

It could help us land a WR in free agency.

I like that idea. Then trade him before the draft.
