Run a blitz every once in a while, Gannon, jeez.

well, thats a sad end to what was mostly a fun half. But it got out of hand in a hurry. Now Dallas gets the ball again. We are cooked.

Maybe just go cover 0 and blitz every down.

They're fighting for Sirianni I give them credit. It doesn't really feel like 30 points, honestly, it feels more like 20. I give them credit for battling, but short handed is short handed. They're making it tough at least.

Most of our short handed is by choice.

We were never going to win this guys, they gave us a fun half, that is more than expected. Relax.

This is how our D usually looks.  5 possessions... 5 scores.  Biggest difference is that they gave up 4 TDs.

broadcaster loves some cowboys d i c k

In the backup defenses defense, they don’t look any worse than the starters against top tier QB’s

The Eagles DB’s this game aren’t much different from the Bucs game, even signed off the street Richard Sherman left injured in the 1st quarter.  They were basically pulling fans out of the seats.

Lol, at the reaction to us playing deep reserves and practice squaders on defense. Calm down.

Considering our starters on defense are mostly backups, why did anyone think that their backups would be able to stop the best offense in the league?

Our dline has been okay. But did anyone think we had incredible linebackers or safeties hiding somewhere?

If I'm in at safety... that's the plan.  I don't run backwards well.

I don't see our 2nd stringers coming back to win this

Nope, aint happening. Dallas will get more points after the half, and then just attack the QB, they will blitz and play pass rush the rest of the game

Going all out for Gannon not so much.

Fun quarter and a half.

Yup.

I think the defense has played well, all thing's considered. They've hit Prescott at least a handful of times by my count, they've just had some fluke plays here and there. The effort is there though for sure.

Rex Ryan says pull the starters.

If they do that, we might win.

lol.  The lack of aggression is what is bothering folks... same as the rest of the year.  Most of these folks want to see aggressive defensive play calls.   I can't blame them, but I never expected it tonight.   Not what Gannon has shown all year, and why would he show much new tonight before a playoff game.  I was expecting vanilla... we're getting it, but with a mix of confusion added in on the back end.

He's terrible, I'm utterly disappointed in him. He's supposed to be some innovative and hot up and coming defensive mind?

Because we are the MFing Philadelphia Eagles

This would be the game to try some different things on defense.  Send a CB blitz, send 6 rushers, do something.

If Dak comes back out in the 3rd I'm sending pressure and roughing him up a bit.

But we know Gannon won't do that.  Soft as vanilla ice cream.

It sucks we most likely are going to lose the last 2 games we play this year.

Why show something like that they haven't used all year the week before the playoffs start?

I have no expectations for the defense tonight, of course. It's what you'd expect from 2nd and 3rd stringers. Though if you want to see what a player can do, at least play some man coverage. An inexperienced secondary who haven't played together are not going to play zone well... especially with no pass rush.

I’m about to leave my seat and sneak in the locker room for the sole purpose of kicking Gannon right in his Fing vulva.
