Barkley has not looked good this year but the Giants are also the Giants.  Their offense is trash.  With that being said, I would love to see what he could do behind the Eagles OL.

Barkley hasn't been the same since the injury

Better question is:  Jags really trying to win?

They lose #1 pick with a win and Lions loss.

Jets gave up the #1 to Jags last year with a meaningless win too lol

I'm stuck watching Steelers/Ravens. Interesting game but nothing that means anything to us.

I always like watching the Ravens play for some reason.  Maybe because I hate the Steelers so if the Ravens game is on that means I don't have to watch the Steelers (except for today's game).  I was also a big Flacco fan coming out of UD so I always had a reason to watch them.  That, and their defense is almost always good and fun to watch.

Colts loss would keep them out of the playoffs no?  So their pick could be even lower if they win and advance a round or 2.

It could.

I'm in Ravens country. So I hope they do well for my friends sake. And the only other option to watch is Gnats and Football team. No thanks.

A question for the group…I know our DBs got roasted last night, but I thought many times that it simply looked like busted coverage rather than guys getting beat in coverage.

I pin more on inexperience (across the board) than necessarily a lack of talent, so for me, I’ll walk away more optimistic about that part of last night than 51 would lead you to think.

Where do you guys net out with that?

Accurate to a certain extent... but if those guys need to play next week, we're in trouble.

Lions just burned the Packers on a double reverse pass to the RB who was wide open with nobody near him.  TD. Tied at 7.

Same.  Flacco was the original reason being from DE originally but since then I've just liked their style of play.  Plus it's a really fun division for rivalries.  I like it when division teams hate each-other.  Makes the games feel more meaningful.

#17, 18, 19 could really get the phones ringing for trade back, theoretically

No. No dam trade backs. Not this year lol. I want all three firsts.

No NFL Redzone?

Impossible to tell.  They played only a handful of coverages, if that many.  Yet still weren't where they needed to be.  Some may be attributed to experience. Most is likely ability.

My one positive takeaway was that we didn't see McPhearson get abused.

Backups or starters, the defense needs a serious infusion of young talent.  Who, besides Maddox and Milton Williams, will even be on the roster in two years?

It would be organizational malpractice if this draft isn’t defense-oriented

Unless it's for high 2023 picks. Hedge our bets on Hurts with extra ammo in the first in what should be a much better QB class.

I also liked how aggressive Chachere was.

All these games that mean something today and I get football team at Giants. Yippee

Watching Ravens-Steelers then Niners-Rams. Could be worse.

Agree. Especially if all of them have to play

NFL Network is currently showing Cleveland-Cincinnati.

Cleveland up now on a TD pass from Baker.

Hulu live so no. Plus not a big fan anyway. Rather watch one game.

He and Wallace were the only 2 DBs I was particularly interested in seeing last night

If you traded to 27-29 range you could pick up an extra 2nd round pick

I do get niners later. Go rams

few observations from that debacle , we have no depth at DB , BACKER and DE, only 3 WR's (smith, watkins and ward) the rest should be cut. OL has decent depth . gainwell , huntley and ward should be the return men.. team needs to add DE , BACKER , S , CB , WR and RB in the draft early and a vet WR. with that many holes i'm surprised the team is in the wild card. howie needs to  step back from the talent evaluation

I’m not sure you can jump to that conclusion on DB based on last night.  The individual DBs really had no opportunity to show what they could do because of the scheme deployed.  They clearly did not work cohesively as a unit, but that is a different issue.

I thought Williams was fine at DE,

with that said, both CB and DE should be high priorities in the coming Draft.

Howie is not going to use 3 first round picks this year. Just don;t see it happening.

i see only two situations happening.

1- Trades Dolphins first and our first to move up for Pickett. (He has been on Howie's eye for a while now this season)

2- Trades one of the first rounders for a first next year and an additional pick this year (round depends on which pick)

Not sure where I am on the CHI/MIN game.

A Vikings win helps us only if Miami loses.

A Bears win hurts the Giants.
