Best part of Howie's off-season, and that is saying something considering how good this draft was for us.

It is.  To get a first rounder for him (even if conditional at time of trade), was a good deal.  It will set the team up for years, if the pick is used wisely.

Plus the long term cap won't be carrying that contract.

Wentz and the Colts had not 1 but 2 Win and your in games.   Wow.

If you can't beat the Jags you have no business in the playoffs.

LOL

This was the perfect situation for Wentz is what we were told.

HC that knows how to use him. Dominant O-line. Dominant run game.  Good WRs.  Great defense.

Meanwhile the Eagles are rebuilding.  New coaches everywhere. A RB playing QB.  Yet they make the playoffs.

Doesn't make sense.

Carson Wentz has been in the NFL for 6 seasons and has yet to truly participate in a playoff game.

Twitter is a hoot to read at the moment. Even local Philly media people are piling in

In college that hit is an ejection.

Agree, and agree on 2017.  I'm kind of sad that season was the exception to his career.

That's my disappointment with Carson. Thought the Eagles were set at QB for a decade.

Ah well, hopefully Hurts keeps improving

Next year will be the determining factor on Wentz in IND.  He does NOT have good WR; Hilton isn’t what he was, and the rest are less than good

But what about dat TD:INT ratio bro

That's a terrible against the Pats.

Really important that the Saints win.

Haters won't be able say we didn't beat a team with a winning record.

Changes the entire perception of the season.

Can't wait to see McAfees reaction on his show Monday.  He's probably pissed.

Wentz has the big arm and big frame, but I think he’s ultimately a sub-par passer.  Accuracy and decision making are poor.  Despite the arm strength, he really struggles to establish any downfield productivity.  Foles, with half the arm, was twice as effective downfield.

Wentz is so similar to McNabb, both went downhill after they were injured.

Now I think Wentz is better than this, but being forced to stay in the pocket due to his loss of mobility eliminated his biggest gift, just like McNabb, the ability to buy time and throw long and make big plays. He wasn't an elite runner, but he was really good at buying time, allowing his WRs to get open.

Ironically, both Wentz and Hurts are having to learn how to be pocket QBs, however, Wentz at 29 has no choice, Hurts at 23 is being groomed by Siri to add that skill to his legs and be a true dual threat.

Wonder if anyone parlayed a Jags and Lions bet lol.

Anyone have what needs to happen for the Eagles to get the Rams instead of Bucs?

That play was disguised really well by the Rams

Won't change a thing, still beat the Saints with Trevor Siemian at QB.

Not sure.  I was told Doyle and Allie Cox were good TEs and Pittman was a stud.

There is no excuse for the Colts not to make the playoffs.

Looks like the Falcons and Rams would need to win. Otherwise, it looks like we'll play the Bucs.

I was being cynical.

I prefer to think of Wentz's performance today as heroic. He had to try to play hero ball because Taylor let him down by not running for 8 yards per carry and the WRs didn't get 15 yards of separation every pass play. 26 TDs to 6 INTs this year, so he's obviously 2017 Wentz again.
