Man Wentz still lives rent free in a lot of peoples heads around here. I love the guy and haven't talked about him all year. He's not an eagle.  People are downright giddy with his failure today. I like that we got the higher pick but as for this hate nonsense who cares? He's gone. Have no opinion on his year either as I never watched a colts game.

To be fair, with a 1st round on the line, there is a big reason why Wentz has been on people's minds. After this season, I suspect that will change.

I don't have any disdain for him but I think people are just happy that it pretty much proves that the team was justified in trading him. Hurts outproduced him and led his team to the playoffs while Wentz had back to back stinkers to end the season to lose their playoff spot. The draft pick is a nice bonus.

 Banner was on Caplan & Moshers podcast, (Caplan is awful btw) talking about Hurts and his issues with going through progressions and how fast any QB can read a field.  
 Banner mentioned Wentz and not recalling ever watching a QB regress in that area so fast. He said by the end of his rookie season that Wentz was easily top 10 QB in how quickly he processed the field, fast forward to the end of 2019 and Wentz was bottom 1/3rd in the league. 

 

So Rams are gonna win. If Falcons win we are 7 and play Rams. If Saints win we are 6 and play Tampa. Correct?
