    They were saying that they were going to force the Raiders to punt if they didn't get the 3rd down. If they were planning on running out the clock it wasn't going to happen anymore.

    I think it was more allowing jacobs to run for the first down and make it a more makeable FG. If that’s a 56-58 yarder better chance it ends in a tie. Chargers run defense is what made that a much more doable fg
