I dont get it, Speilman was right for laughing at us for Taking Reagor over Jefferson. 

Misplaced anger- we should be mad at Howie, Not Speilman for being right.

Agreed. I'm not as down on him as some people and look forward to what he can do with an infusion of talent to the defense. But it is a little bit annoying to see all these good defensive coaches available a year too late

Or... we can tell Speilman to enjoy watching the playoffs and remind him that his team always comes up short... and that we stole a 1st round pick from him for Bradford.    Speilman has no room to crow over the Jefferson pick, because getting ONE right isn't hard.  

 

We can make fun of Howie and be mad at Howie for Reagor, but the Vikings have no room to talk.  They got Jefferson... and still didn't make the playoffs.   You mad?  So sad.

The Chargers firing Schottenheimer after going 14-2 was awful; firing Flores after going 9-8 is somewhat surprising and just a bad decision by the franchise.

It is believed by numerous sources that Flores wanted Herbert over Tua. Then he was looking at getting Watson which I guess the owner did not want. That's why the owner just came out and said they will not be pursuing Watson. They probably want a coach who believes in Tua. I don't think Flores should be upset about getting fired.  He will get another opportunity for sure.

Yup.  Half a beat after the double move, the inside defender sat on the route, and the seam was wide open for as easy a TD as there is in the NFL.

I think it’s likely next year than this year. I think the bears go an offensive minded coach to work with fields. Minnesota is coming off a defensive minded coach. I tend to think they’ll go opposite of their last coach in zimmer and go offensive. Ditto with the broncos and fangio. Imo i think the raiders keep their coach. Not sure you want to go to jags and work with baalke and that ownership after dealing with the dolphins bad ownership. 

actually think if the giants were smart (they aren’t) they’d fire judge and go get Flores.

Tbh might be worse for dolphins fans. Don’t get me wrong both situation stink to miss out on those type of players. But herbert is a generational QB. He’s a franchise changing type QB. He was right there to finally replace Marino after decades and they took tua.

People don't want to hear it but relationships matter.

So even though Flores was doing a good job so far, there was some kind of disconnect between him and management.
