He has more drops than touchdowns. And as many fumble recoveries for tds as receiving tds. Also as many umbrellas at practice as receiving tds.

basically what I’m saying is JJAW Fing sucks.

The question now before us is who sucks more...Reagor or JJAW?

I'd say fair trade.

So TJ Watt got hosed out of setting a new sack record because on his first sack the ball bounced before it got back to Huntley, which counts as a fumbled snap by the center (?), a recovery by the QB Huntley -- who then is deemed a runner, and a "tackle" and forced fumble by Watt.

What a bunch of horse crap.  I'm positive Huntley could have still thrown a pass, which means he's still deemed the QB and the tackle should have been a sack.  Come on, NFL -- you can still get this right.

I thought the same thing watching it live.

You're allowed to miss on 1st rd picks if you keep finding Mailata (7th), Sweat (4th), Gainwell (5th), Williams (3rd), etc.

In the end, it's a team game, and you have to build a team. We managed to patch a top OL together with a 7th, 2nd, 6th, UDFA, and 1st rd pick, with a 4th, FA, 3rd on IR.

The etc. is where it falls down, that's about it for the late round hits as well.   Howie has missed every pick in the first round after pick 13.  Every. Single. One.   That's not ok.   That's bad.

Obviously it's a team game, but in the case of the GM chair, he is the one on the hot seat to put a FULL ROSTER together.  Shall we discuss how he 'patched' together a WR corps now with 2 first round picks and a second?  And another first before that?   And for the investment of 3 first round picks and a second since 2015... the Eagles have 1 WR to show for it.  (oh, I forgot the expensive FA misses to go with the missed draft picks)

Reagor can't play, he's far worse than Agholor ever was. JJAW can't play.

I'm patient with players up to a point, but you have to show something, anything.

Meanwhile, Hurts finishes his first year as a starter with good games passing from the pocket on a bad ankle, but he can't improve. Even though he has.

This makes absolutely no sense.  His stats are nearly identical to Agholor's first two seasons, only Reagor will field a PR/KR where Agholor was scared of the ball on ST.

Obviously JJAWful, but they are both bad.  Was just running some numbers.

Jefferson rookie year, 88 for 1400 and 7 TD's

Jefferson second year, 108 for 1616 and 10 TD's.

Chase rookie year, 81 for 1455 and 13 TD's.

Here is how bad Reagor and JJAWful are.

5 combined seasons, 80 for 985 and 4 TD's.

Missing 1st round picks is not made up by hitting on later picks. lol not how it works.

The 1st round is where the best talent and highest chance to get premium talent is, you need to hit on those picks.

If Hurts comes back next year as a starter, everything that we’ve seen this year is going to be exploited. I’m not saying Reagor is some all pro WR. They both aren’t that good, but I rather see Reagor next year with a new QB than Hurts at all.

JJAW, I have a feeling Howie could of caught that pass.  It wasn’t a pass catch drop, typically punts get mishandled like that, not passes, it was such a weird drop.

Just win baby. 4 playoff appearances in 5 years, including a SB win. About 28 or so other franchises would take that.

We've reworked the roster in two seasons, have 9 picks in the first 5 rounds, will trade Dillard for another pick, and we're in the playoffs.

I don't care if it's luck or skill, it works.

Goalies I’d agree with are mental. However the flyers have continued to find a way for nearly 2.5 decades to somehow routinely find themselves back in the same spot at the position. I like hart but man he’s been very underwhelming for two years now. Some of its not his fault and it’s the defense. Some of it i hope is just growing pains. But some of it is just not been nearly as good as we thought he was going to be. I still have hope he can become that guy.

No.  You're not.

to be fair if we hit on 60% being absolute studs, 30% being decent players who just didn't play like a 1st rounder, but contributed a bunch, and only  truely missed on 10% being complete busts, then I wouldn't be too upset.

But thats not who Howie is.

I think both of us would be happier with a new QB next season -- but it's very unlikely to happen.  I think the best thing for the Eagles and Reagor would be to attempt to get a mid round pick for him.

Not defending Reagor as he sucks, but this statement is false.

Not defending Reagor as he sucks, but you are correct.  First two seasons.

Reagor - 64 for 695 and 3 TD's

Agholor - 59 for 648 and 3 TD's.

It rivals Pinkstons alligator arms attempt and hopefully the result will be the same

3.7 saved, 15.7 million dead if a pre June 1 release.  That will make the 2022 dead cap total 37.7 million.

he's going to be a post June 1st cut designation.  I think that saves closer to 6 million and the dead money hit goes down.

Believing in Siri is coach him up. He’s been the 4th-5th option in a run first offense. What sort of an investment are we going to make this off-season to improve that?

If we’re sticking with Hurts next year, I don’t see the point in doing much to change our WR situation. We’re running because our QB is incapable not our receivers.

Hopefully you get your wish. Who do you think will sign him after he's cut?

It's exactly how it works. Don't fall into the "Sunk cost" trap.
