I think he’s qualified enough; people just don’t want to recognize he’s being choosy (or selective) about who he’s willing to interview with.  He’s not going to take a head coaching gig with the Jets or Texans, for instance.

There isn’t any grand plot or racial bias against hiring him.

Do you think he’s being choosy? That might be the case.

I’ve always thought it strange that he’s everyone’s top candidate, they get to speak with him during the interview process, then they immediately pass.

Sadly, I want him to get hired this year just so we don't have to hear all of the people crying racist that he doesn't get hired again.

Never move him to RT again.

Looks like a replay of the Bucs-Eagles will be on NFL Network 3 PM on Thursday.

I loved Mailata when he was drafted.  I love him as the LT of the future.  But this is complete and utter BS from PFF.

There is absolutely ZERO chance that he allowed 3 combined sacks and QB hits this year.  Zero.  He has had multiple games this year where he has really struggled in pass protection with both sacks and hits.  And that's OK given his experience and trajectory; I'm not riding him for it.  But that PFF analysis is just sheer fluff.  It was a running joke this year every time he gave up a sack that PFF would post something that he had the NFL's highest grade in pass protection for the week.

Anyone who willingly watches that game again is a masochist

Damn straight. He's already a top 3 LT in the NFL, and it's plausible, if not likely, he will be the best LT in the league in short order.

Do not move him, and do not move Dickerson.

Bet you $500 the Bucs win that game.

For really special talents, GMs say F it and will draft the acl injuries in first round anyway.

Worked out for the Titans and Jeffrey Simmonds.

Trading down allows for taking fliers on injury risks too.

If there's ever a year to take a risk in the 1st, it's when you have 3 picks...provided you can't find a trade down partner. Jameson Williams is a mix between Jamar Chase and DeVonta Smith and would add such explosion to this team.

Watching how effective the offense becomes once we start to run the ball is enjoyable.

This is such a bummer, but this is how we got Dickerson in RD2 last year.

Trade down for Williams works for me!

And for all those in the "these guys owe their school and their teammates to play in meaningless bowl games” camp, this is why they don’t.

And for the record, I am NOT saying that game was meaningless.

Thanks

Fun fact: The 2017 Eagles did not give up a single point in the final 2 minutes of the game.

The Eagles defense did, however, score three touchdowns in the games’ final 2 minutes — fumble returns by Cox vs WFT, Graham vs the Rams and Barnett be the Raiders.

Philadelphia Inquirer is running a big Jason Kelce story tomorrow with a cool cover page for anyone into collecting

@LeanMeanGM

Looks like weather might impact the game more than I originally thought, so I need to change my prediction.

Eagles - 23

Bucs - 37

Bonus: Bucs punt only once in the first half.

Either way I don't think his race has anything to do with it
