I'll go on record and say that if Reich gets fired and Doug gets a new HC job, Reich becomes the OC for Doug again... and they go on to success again together... and if they get the band back together with DeFilippo as well...

I knew the Dolphins were bad, but a zero?  MF’ers didn’t even try. Trading that pick for Waddle was stupid, now a new coach with another OC for Tua.
Chan Gailey slol, someone should of been fired in 2020 just for suggesting that dude. 28 NFL teams run pretty much the same offense with the same plays, plus probably another 85-90 in college, and the best guy was Gailey?
Tua will be starting his 3rd season and still no one knows if he’s any good.

Fascinating stuff right there

Eagles only forced 4 fumbles all year; TB forced 12.  A wet field and footballs is probably not to the Eagles' advantage.

Windy conditions would be advantage Eagles -- Brady's passes being affected by wind, while Hurts' ..... runs ... not so much.

Especially with a RB that has a fumbling problem and now a gimpy wrist. If anything Tampa seems to be the favorite in the rain with a big strong tough Fournette, a accurate quick passer in Brady along with a good o-line.

Josh Sweat is slightly concerning

Watching how effective the offense becomes once Tampa Bay completely takes their foot off the gas and starts sitting in prevent defense in Q3 helps my narrative that Hurts is the future.

Or is this a Marvel What If? episode?

If that call was made correctly the Patriots lose no Super Bowl.  The Eagles beat the Bucs in 2002. McNabb brings home the first of 4 rings to the  city.

The call was correct under the rules in effect at the time. It was a stupid rule and they changed next season it but at the time it was called correctly.

The tuck rule won’t have made Blaine Bishop any faster or get Dawkins to catch a pop fly interception that instead went for a TD.

If we send them Brandon Brown... can we send Reagor with him and get Jefferson in return?    Asking for a friend.

I really think Jameson still goes in the 1st.  He hasn't come close to touching his potential yet.  I said it in an earlier post but I think he's a combination of Chase and Smith.  With his recovery schedule, he should be healthy by the season opener.  He's such a explosive player.  I'd have no issue if the Eagles take him with their own pick.  Sadly, they still need help at WR and should be an early target.  Luckily, for the 3rd year in a row, the WR class is pretty loaded...if only we didn't have Howie.

Dont agree on first round. Corner and hopefully safety. Both will be scarce by the time we pick in the second. I covet d hill from michigan with our pick.

lots of good corners.

I'd suggest that Mac Jones should be higher... but that's because I put the premium on passing, not rushing.  When taking his rushing into account, you can't put Jones higher.

And, all that said... for the game on Sunday... I don't personally care if Hurts rushes 40 times and passes it only twice... as long as they win.  From this point, it's not about 'developing' Hurts, but about doing whatever needs to be done to win.   So, while I would be more critical of a game where Hurts was used as a primary ball carrier, or had more carries than he has completions, that goes out the window for the playoffs.  Just survive and advance, however they do it doesn't matter one bit.  Just gotta do it.  And as the 7 seed, they are already at a disadvantage, so they need to use whatever they can to win.

I'm not sure why he's renting.  Should be able to buy a place at this point.

Yep.  If the Eagles are staying with Hurts and a run heavy offense, WR is a poor use of draft resources in the first round.  CB, S, DE, LB are all pressing needs and there should be ample talent where the Eagles are picking.  Free up enough cap space to bring in a vet WR as the 3rd receiving option behind Smith and Goedert.  If there's an intriguing WR prospect on the board in the mid rounds, that makes more sense

Seeing the Rams sign Eric Weddle makes me wonder why no one has signed Larry Fitzgerald.
