I never said they would, but I do know that some folks have stopped watching. I don't think it's because of the message though. The kneeling thing got quite a few people around here fired up (me too but not enough to quit watching)

His mom created a twitter account for the sole purpose of posting that.  Account created in January 2022.  Follows no one.  Has no followers.

1 tweet.  No question, he's a mamas boy.

What grown man would let their mom hold an umbrella for them?

Leo DiCaprio is a professional, that's his job. If he however for some reason accepted a scholarship to go to college to be on the drama team then he would receive no other pay.

Failed analogy. His drama class wouldn’t be a multimillion dollar asset for his owner, nor would it be televised for massive revenue. There is NO analogous situation to NCAA athletes. Show me a drama class that puts on shows for billions and we’ll talk. Letting kids market their own likeness is the only answer.

JJAW has white hands?

I was more surprised at the fact that he even has hands.   Can't tell from watching him play.

For as bad as TATE seems sometimes, the absolute dumbest fans have to be on twitter. I've lost count how many times people have unironically suggested running the Philly Special against Tampa to "rattle Brady". As if we haven't already seen that once this year turn into an abject failure.

Of the three misses...

One was blocked and one was a horrible snap.

What does that matter? He isn't a professional, and he's getting a free education because of his "skills". And by the way the college doesn't "own" you. The failed analogy is on your part with Leonardo, it's not the same.

I can't even remember the third

No. It matters because a drama class isn’t a multibillion dollar commodity. NCAA sports are. So drama students get zero percent of zero dollars they generate. NCAA athletes get zero dollars of billions they generate.

this really isn’t complicated…

I’m still stunned they collapsed. I fully expected them to win a playoff game.

Probably the biggest "what if" play in team history.

If Alshon makes that catch, do we win and go on to another Super Bowl?

False.  They get zero dollars from the ticket sales for their productions.  They do sell tickets for their shows.   The only difference is the scale.

Yes. Saints were the best team that year. They win the SB if not for the missed call in the NFCCG.

Everyone piling on Wentz, and rightly so, but to put it all on him is ridiculous.  As someone who watched the Colts more than most as I had Jonathan Taylor in my big $$ fantasy league, the offensive line for that team was a disaster all year.  This Colts writer gets it.

That's all that matters to them.  It's a marketing thing for them at this point and the real message is most likely falling on deaf ears.  Notice how they went from EVERYTHING being pink in October to now next to nothing.  They evolved it to Crucial Catch but the NFL made TONS of money by selling pink merchandise.  It was nauseating to look at on Sundays in October.  It's not that I or many don't support breast cancer research, it's the NFL doesn't know when to stop.  It went from pink accessories...maybe wrist bands or gloves to fields being painted pink, everything in the stadium that could be turned pink was pink and so on.

NFL Breast Cancer Awareness Revenue

Social justice is trendy and popular now.  Hate to say it like that because everyone deserves to be treated equal but pro sports, pop culture, Hollywood and everything that falls in between have taken it to the next level.  Post George Floyd, everyone panicked as to how they would look and be judged.  The Dixie Chicks dropped Dixie from their name, The Redskins, Indians and Edmonton Eskimos all dropped their names, Lady Antebellum is now Lady A.  The NFL just sees an opportunity to join the club.  The end zone messages, helmet bumpers, commercials, the Black National Anthem before important games and events...it's all just a marketing campaign and they will make money.

Look what costs $32 and is all over the sidelines the last few weeks.  The NFL is and always will be driven by money.

If he catches and we win, it is much more difficult to purge Foles for Wentz.

The less he’s irritated the better off the Eagles are.  Him and Jordan are the only guys I could imagine doing something like this.
