It’s baffling we even have that many. I know Hargrave and Sweat make up half but I couldn’t tell you what combo makes up the other half.

Prepare to be blown away!

At least he got the bag.

He deserves it, Mills out performed everyone’s expectations, and right or wrong Culley stuck by his WHITE offensive coordinator, that’s something the race baiters on Twitter forget to mention.  At 66 he’s unlikely to get another HC job, and it’s a shame because he might be a pretty good coach.

I mean, we did finish 31st in total sacks. That's dominant, right?

Wentz is going to be a punchline in the Eagles fandom for a while to come. Might as well make your peace with the ridicule.

I was deemed a troll for pointing out the obvious half way thru last season. It was obvious then.

Sacks?

Nah sacks don't mean anything.  It's all about the pressures/hurries.

Derek Barnett, what a disappointment, I wasn't a huge fan when he was picked but willing to give him a shot and after a rookie season in which they win a super bowl with him as a back up putting up respectable numbers I had higher expectations for him but after that super bowl he's done nothing but got worse every year.

Thanks for the fumble recovery in the super bowl dont let the door hit you on the way out👎

So we should be willing to use people and underpay them for their skills for our entertainment? I mean how wrong is that? What does that remind you of in our history?

Nova has an estimated tuition of $58k with everything. Do you think a kid on their football team with a full scholarship would get paid $58k in the arena league?  Nope. $38k.

Many college athletes get to graduate without any debt, while kids who don't play sports are working for years to pay off the $232k. Stop acting like the kids don't get anything. All they have to do is go to class if they choose, practice, exercise, and party. Other kids are working multiple jobs and living off Ramen.

Safe to say their 1st pick this draft needs to be a pass rusher, depending on who's left of course.

Wonder if they will bring back Graham.  I know he probably still thinks he can play at a high level but he's probably done.  They need to get younger and more explosive at DE.

BGs contract all but guarantees he is back

Starting to think the the biggest opponent of socialized college is college football👎

Keeping money in schools is motivation for keeping the status quo. Imagine how much military enrollment would decrease if college was actually affordable.

So we are accepting of how stupid expensive an education costs? The colleges are making Millions of these athletes to pay them 58k a year. What are the kids getting off of that? I make way more than that selling phones. Your argument is ridiculous.

Dont need a college degree to sell phones

Yet I make more than a college athlete, teachers, most nurses. Also put it into real estate which brings me income each month.

All those professions should out do what I’m doing, but they don’t, and they paid thousands to do it, see the problem?

Yes and no. You wont find many bigger capitalists than me, but not everyone is in it for the money. I am and went the grad school…twice…but jobs like those require a subject matter expertise than demands college and beyond

And they have to go into crazy debt while colleges are making millions on college athletes while paying them less than what it takes to not go to college. Then they add on insane interest where it’s almost impossible to pay it off. Then people say they are lucky that they have a skill that makes others millions to not have to pay that. When doctors, nurses, teachers also have to do it and are drowning in debt.

That's not really the reason why education shouldn't cost what it does currently (that it's not "worth it"). Turns out it's bad for the economy when you're funneling money out of degree earners into debt repayment rather than having them spending it and putting it into the economy.

Because college sports would become about who can pay the most, which will destroy the things we love about it. Suddenly, rivalry games between Oregon and Oregon St become meaningless because Nike can dump millions getting players to the Ducks. Like watching the Big 5? Suddenly every Wharton or Nova grad can dump money into them while St. Joe's, Temple, and La Salle become even more irrelevant. Most teams can't compete every year for a championship but those are fun games to watch. Kiss them goodbye.

That’s silly.   There’s the same amount of players who will want playing time.  Sure some schools may be able to buy more players but why is that any different than Alabama playing for the National Championship each year. Basketball is a totally different sport and paying those players is going to change the one and done stars.

You can think what you want. Nurses in a lot of places of the country probably make less than you selling phones. Life isn't fair. People say they want capitalisms by opening things up to the free market and then say we need to do the exact opposite and limit what private institutions charge for education. Pick a side.

I mean yes but his performance was part of the problem.

Interesting about the one and done. Good point I hadn't considered. Point remains that the same amount of players could want playing time...but they will follow the money.
