Slay was the only other Eagles to get a vote. He got one and finished 5th among corners.

Just not between tackles, outside is where the Bucs are the most vulnerable giving up 5.3 yds per attempt.

Mainly  because of David , Shaq and JPP being out , once they get healthy , it will improve , they haven’t being setting the edge with them guys out .

protect the ball young man

How do people here feel about this push for Sanders to play by the team? They have rare depth at the RB position, and Sanders already has fumbling issues when both of his hands are fully functional. It seems asinine to rush this guy out there for the biggest game of the season.

Howard can turn 4 yards into 14.  Sanders can turn 4 yards into 40.  When you are a prohibitive underdog, big plays are your best shot at overcoming the differential in talent.

Jerry Rice? Nope...

Jim Brown, probably.

Jim Brown, definitely. He was shooting a film and it fell behind schedule. He asked the team to give him a few days to complete it before going to training camp. They said No and that they would fine him for every day he missed. Sooo, he said, "Fine. I’ll retire.”

He had just finished leading the league in rushing for the eighth time in nine years and was only 29.

BTW, the movie was Tick, tick, tick The Dirty Dozen.

Sanders can also turn 4, 40 and 1st and goal into a back breaking turnover.

I think Sanders is talented, but ball security is arguably his biggest deficiency at this stage. If you're making the subjective argument, though, that the risk of fumbling is outweighed by the potential reward of game-changing plays, I guess I can at least understand the perspective. They will definitely need to score in this game, but the risk of fumbling with him feels relatively high for this particular game.

I think the ball security is a big concern but completely disagree with your assessment about RB depth.

Sanders can also turn 4 yards into minus 4. When you are a prohibitive underdog you can’t afford negative plays.

Brown retired in 65, that came out in 1970.

Rio Conchos was his first film.
