That's a problem right there.  Some people need a graph to tell if a player is good or not.

When it comes to RB particularly, I agree. It's the most straight forward evaluation.

Do you mean this graph showing he is as productive vs EPA as Taylor?

Boy has Saqoun fallen. Is it that he never really recovered 100% from his injury, or NY lack of Oline, or NY lack of a good coach?

Either way, he was a one year wonder.

I'd be extremely suspicious of that bottom graph.  For some reason Miles Sanders is a full yard per carry higher expected than the vast majority of RB in the entire league?  He's about a half yard higher per carry expected than any other RB in the NFL?

I call BS on that graph.

Jim Brown, definitely. He was shooting a film and it fell behind schedule. He asked the team to give him a few days to complete it before going to training camp. They said No and that they would fine him for every day he missed. Sooo, he said, "Fine. I’ll retire.”

He had just finished leading the league in rushing for the eighth time in nine years and was only 29.

BTW, the movie was Tick, tick, tick. It was so, so, so.

I thought the movie was the Dirty Dozen.

What a Graph?  There is no player that a graph is the most straight forward evaluation.

No, I'm saying RB is easy to see with your eyes. You don't need any other information to determine if they're playing well. EPA provides good context, but scouting how well a player runs is simple. It's not like watching a QB on TV or not being able to see the secondary.

I like analytics a lot, but I don’t trust those numbers at all.

The blind anti-sanders narrative this year is baffling.

No he wasn’t.  Top 64 would have been a reach.  Probably why he’s going back.

He's going to benefit from Will Anderson being even better next year.

Saw this posted. He crapped the bed the last week of the season, that being said. He was better this past year than he was in 2020.

I interpret that as crediting the O-line for creating massive holes. It's based on where the defenders are vs the ball carrier.

I recognize he is a good player- When healthy.

I just dont feel like he is healthy enough. I certainly would not give him another contract.

Why so baffling.

The dude is always hurt and when actually healthy he's busy not scoring tds, not a one👎

I feel like they should parse out Barnett and give him his own spot on the graph

Howie got the right guy, and a 6th rd pick to boot. Donohue was wrong.

Why do people obsess with speed when it comes to WRs? Reagor has speed, but can't run routes.

The problem with JJAW isn't lack of speed, but lack of quickness, body control and the ability to high point and snatch balls.

A big WR who runs 4.5+ is fine if he uses his strength to beat press coverage, can run good routes, knows how to use his body to shield the ball, has the body control to make tough catches, and the long arms and hands to high point and snatch the ball in a crowd. You can find these guys in the 2nd and 3rd rd, because teams obsess over speed and let these guys drop in the draft. Keenan Allen for example.

Yeah, duh.  I reference the bottom graph because it's easier

If you like to believe BS, fill your boots.  Those of us with sufficient intelligence are able to identify BS as BS.

I think it Sanders’ case, he’s a good but frustrating player because he has inconsistent vision.

I don’t agree with the narrative that he turns runs into negative yards. The issue is that he’ll miss some holes or he’ll take too long to get through the hole. Those runs go from 8 to 5 yards.

Pittman in Indy has been pretty good this year.

He's a big WR who didn't test especially well but he's got strong enough hands and uses his big frame well

JJAW not only has awful body control and horrible field awareness but he's got stone hands as well which is surprising cuz he showed strong hands In college but the NFL is a different beast.

Not sure Howie goes back to the big bodied contested catch well, or maybe after drafting 3 speed guys in one draft hell draft 3 big bodied WRs in one draft and hope to hit on one.
