hmmmm. I wonder if that was just done to satisfy the rooney rule. Doesnt seem like a waste of everyone's time at all.

Might just be to fulfill the rooney requirement.

Who knows maybe if they hire him he could end up being a good coach.  But if I was a Texans fan I wouldn't be thrilled about it, if hired.

Push offs don’t get much more blatant than that.

That was OPI

Didn’t even know he was a coach of any kind.  Hate that MFer.

We interviewed him two years ago to be WR coach

Bengals will be a good team for awhile , they’re just getting started

Who was the last team to have 3 1sts?  The Raiders I think and they took Ferrell, Abram and Jacobs.  Only one I ever hear about is Jacobs.

Makes me nervous.....

It’s amazing what having a QB playing QB for you will do

It's very sad that every time a minority gets interviewed or hired, the first thought that many have is that it was only done because that person is a minority.

It's like saying, "I'm not racist, I just can't wrap my head around the fact that a minority might be better at a job than a white guy."

Don’t think so. They already interviewed Flores and either did or are going to interview Mayo.

Howie's track record of 1st and 2nd picks is enough to make me nervous.. He hits on like 35%

Ferrell was considered a top 20-30 prospect, they took him 4th.

Now they just need to get a line before he turns into Andrew luck with all the injuries

Hines Ward does not have the coaching experience to get an NFL HC job.

It's more insulting bringing someone in to interview just because they're a minority when they don't have a shot at getting the job in the first place.

When a minority wr coach with a terrible resume is hired because the franchise qb requested a minority hire, it was done because that person is a minority.  Now that they had to fire him because he sucks and they are getting flack for it, the next hire will also have to be a minority.

There can be no denying that all these moves are about skin color; it was almost explicitly stated.

Djax w a costly drop

With the 4th most cap space, the draft, and the fact they are set at all offensive skill positions, I am sure they can address that.

DJax with the brutal drop. Not sure he would have gotten there regardless.

Will #11 be issued next year?  What about 71, 87 and 25?

No one is saying it for 99% of the minority candidates being interviewed.

Interviewing Ward is clearly for the Rooney rule. If you cant see that your a moron.

This isn't true at all.

But how do you know what someone's qualifications are? How many hires have you made for an NFL team?

well thats disingenuous as F.

I think you mean a minority with nothing on his resume.
