I obviously want defense early in this draft but I’m all in on Linderbaum with one of those 15/16 picks. Keep Landon Dickerson at LG forever by the way. Start Linderbaum at RG immediately after you get rid of Brooks and that contract.  Keep Seumalo’s cheap contract as a backup. You now have 4 mauling Paul Bunyans anchored by a rugby playing monster ballerina and multiple successors to Jason Kelce when he retires.  
 

I love this offensive line right now.  Pending Lane Johnson’s physical and mental health, you might as well continue to add weapons to the obvious strength of this team if there aren’t any talented QBs to take in round 1.

I'd like Linderbaum too but think he is too light in the pants for guard.  I'd love it if by some miracle Kenyon Green made it to 15. Put him at RG and yowzers.  

Green, Ojabo, Gardner 1st round would make me hyperventilate.   Won't happen but I'm dreaming nonetheless.

Id rather wait and add an RG or future RT who can begin at guard in the third rd pr beyond like the tulsa RT.

Saints are 63M over the cap right now. They need to restructure Thomas, Jordan, Ramczyk, Kamara, Lattimore, Davenport, And probably Peat just to get under. Then they will have to make some more room because they only have 40 players. They will have to find another 10-15M plus whatever Wilson’s contract would be. No way Saints could make that move.

Do the Saints even have the cap to make this work (I thought they were $60M down)? I guess they can give him 5 dummy years or mortgage the cap some other way.

I’d hope so - I figure the safeties (Hill, Brisker and Cine) go off the board between 25-45… fingers crossed for a QB tradeback with DET, which would drop us right in that range.

Our season is likely to come to an end today but I take solace in the fact that this kid has a chance to be special. My eyes and everyone around him say the same things. Here’s to hoping that he continues to utilize the QB coaches around him and takes another step this off-season.

Probably pair one of these safety prospects with a FA, and work behind Epps to begin with (he’s been serviceable in a bad defense, but I’m not sure he’s a starter on a good defense).
