He just turned 23 on January 7

If that's the case then I'm fine with him in round 1 with a trade back option.

That's not good especially with Suh and Vea inside. Opeta might not be able to handle those guys.

Let’s see how it plays out.  Time will tell.  I have faith in Stoutland.

True. And, at least we have a mobile QB who can roll away from inside pressure if he has to.

I think the Eagles will actually steal this one today and finally shut Tom Brady's competitive window in the process.

Touch and go weather is a big advantage for us.  As much as I hate being a running team...and I do...today is and will be THE definitive counterpoint to my argument.  Playoffs, wet weather...the ensuing chaos favors the team with the road grating OL and running qb.

Slide Milton Williams out to the edge

The Bucs have power OTs. Speed-rushers are better matchups (ex: Avery) than Milton on obvious passing downs.

Cappa is their worst OL, but Jensen can help unless we continue with 5 man fronts.

Not a lot of details yet

His issue was listed as abdominal, so I wonder if his appendix burst and he needed emergency surgery.

I’m was expecting a "The Eagles should have waited to extend him” post.

Wtf? Got mugged or something?

If it was that bad, then he should have been ruled out from the get go. No point in risking your life over a football game.

Appendicitis maybe? Not a lot of "life threatening emergency procedures" you can shake off that quickly.

Sounds like appendicitis which means he really had no shot to ever play and they just gamesman shipped it

Appendix maybe?

Why would the Eagles tip their hand ??

I don't think it would matter that much. It isn't the QB position.  And, at this point, you are in the playoffs. The belief should be that you can win regardless.

Based on what they previously said about abdominal issues I'm guessing that he had his appendix removed.

What could be life threatening in a young person that also was adequately reversible through a procedure that he nearly played today?

Pneumothorax requiring a chest tube…although he really wouldn’t be even close to playing today.

Cardiac arrhythmia seems most likely…although those are major issues that threaten careers.

Severe asthma attack…maybe, but not sure what the procedure would be.

And then there are various toxic/metabolic issues which can definitely be life threatening, yet quickly reversible.

Sorry to speculate, the human body is just a puzzle to solve sometimes.

Paging Javon Hargrave... paging Fletcher Cox.

Could he theoretically get close to playing after having his appendix removed?

I’m liking the Tulsa OT/OG in round 3 or 2 as well.  Waiting on what justrelax has to say about him and also the potential of Toth as a long term answer at Center.

I was shockingly impressed with him against Dallas till he got his boo boo.
