The best part about this year is it cemented Kelce as a first ballot HOFer

HoFer, yes.  First ballot?   Doubtful.  Centers don't get that kind of love.

Anyone else notice Gannon's call sheet was the size of a index card?

I think I'd rather ride with Minshew than Mariota.

Mariota actually has the arm to use the deep field.  Not an ideal situation, true.

I agree with about 99% of this, and the most frustrating part is that the change at HC should have allowed more of a fresh look at all these positions.

Siri needs to go in fresh next season and let most positions be open competitions.  Though, Lowie might not let him.

It's been like that all season

4 first team all Pro? He should be.

Too bad for the 49ers  in real life he was a Eagles fan.

…which means he’s up there rooting for a Dallas loss. So, either way, the meme is accurate. I need a laugh after that debacle I just witnessed--don’t rain on my parade, bro. 😂

Barring a like kind trade, we are likely stuck with Reagor for another summer.   Hopefully the end of the year discussion with him grabs his attention and he is a third year developer but I wouldn’t bet a plug nickel on it, Chad.

Yup. Been like that all year.

complaining about Gannon at this point is idiotic.

Parsons looked concussed there. Massive if he’s ruled out

Calm down, they said the same thing about McNabb and Wentz only to ship both of them out.

You calm down, I was joking

Hurts is a great character guy and is a very likable person but he is not a starting NFL QB.

Is he really though?  Sure he says the right things but watch his body language on the field.

Don’t buy Sirianni’s rhetoric. He had to change his entire offense to cater to Hurts, he probably wants an upgrade more than anyone.

I think with Miami out of the Watson sweepstakes, that will be the thing to monitor this off-season. The only team that will probably go heavy after him is Carolina and they don’t have the draft capital to outbid the Eagles.

Don’t waste money on stopgaps when we already have two on the roster.

I would prefer not to put multiple picks into a QB, but, premier position in the game and you have to do what you have to do.  Options

1.  Pickett falls far enough that you add a 3rd or 4th to move up a couple spots to get him.

2.  Pickett is available at 19.

3.  1st, 2nd and Hurts for Watson.

4.  Sell the farm for Rodgers if he wants out of Green Bay.

Pickett’s hands are really small. I’m not against it, he should fall to us. Do we trade Hurts after we pick him or do we let it be a QB competition?

Im 100% out on Watson, Wilson yes, but Watson isn’t worth it.

If we got Rodgers, we get Adams, I’d be all in on this.If we do this and convince Kelce to stay then we need to hit on defense with what draft picks we have left and free agency

True, Bledsoe actually stood in the pocket, Strong goes down when someone breathes on him.  All joking aside, why do you like him?  He's a big arm with decent touch but he's a complete statue.

The bolded.   Mobility is overrated in a QB.   If the QB can make the right reads, and has the arm to make the throws, all that matters is being able to shuffle a few feet here or there.

Ultimately, he's not my ideal situation, but there is no ideal available... so he's the best of the limited options, IMO.  The cost would fit the risk at the 19th pick, or even in a trade down situation the top of round 2.

Expect Howie to go full tilt for Watson. I just hope he agrees to come here.

@LeanMeanGM

I nailed today's prediction.

Oh no

Meaningless quote at the end of the year.   Remember 2003 NFCCG... WRs get tossed around like rag dolls... Reid says, "We're fine there." in reference to the WR position.   That offseason, they bring in TO.

Please can we draft a RB who runs like Elijah Michell
