Now maybe I'm reading way too much in to this but has he had to wear a boot this year ever?  Why wear it now after a playoff loss?  Is it being used to make us think he's a warrior or that maybe the ankle had something to do with it?  Seems more of a prop than a need.

Unpopular name I’d take a flier on at QB in this draft….Sam Howell.

Aiyuk... another guy they could have had instead of Reagor...  would have been a better option.

If Watson isn't suspended, that's the easy move.

People may not want him, but that's irrespective of whether or not it would be a good move.

If you can get a top 7 QB in their mid 20's, you do it.

And like others said, 2023 QB class may not be better. It may. But what if it isn't. You keep kicking the can down the road til you find one? And waste Smith and Mailata's prime, and what remaining years Lane and Kelce have?

A lot of time with NHL players in the playoffs you find out a few days later they end up getting shoulder or leg surgery after playing a tough 6-7 game series.  I don’t remember any of them wearing braces or walking boots to the postgame PC

Agree 100%.  QBs are more valuable than any other position, but I wonder if we could even get a 2nd rounder in return.  Hurts can be a backup in this league, but he is not a starter.

Not sure about the draft. No one has caught my eye. Strong has some talent, but will probably be over-drafed.

I would look at the trade options and consider Wilson/Watson. It's not often you have 3 first round picks. Make the most of it. I'm not sold on doing it, but they need to look at those guys on tape very closely.

That’s the thing, they probably won’t like what they see in the draft or find a palatable trade market. 

I think Minshew is the most likely challenger to Hurts.

Comparison is if Burrow, Herbert or Jones declared the year before they were actually drafted in they would have been late round picks like you said about Pickett. There final year helped them get drafted early, just like what is happening to Pickett.

If that's the case I doubt they let that happen, because it opens them up to questions about why it wasn't an option last year, especially if Minshew wins the battle.  Bad look if that happens, and we know they hate bad looks.

$3.5M is peanuts for the most important position on the field, that’s not going to sink us. If he can’t play, that would be the issue.

The Eagles plan for Hurts will be contingent on who was the driving force behind drafting him.  If it was Weidl and Doug as I suspect, I believe the Eagles will be front and center on acquiring QB by any means possible.

Bradshaw, Aikman and Simms were all highly critical of Hurts today
