Dallas' **** dome design coming back to haunt them

Sun may have affected Wilson.

Bad stadium design... but hey... Jerrah knows football.    Just not science.   Those windows in the end zone are beyond stupid and they have caused issues in games constantly, but they never fix it... not even putting some shade cloth over it for games like this where the sun does affect play on the field.   Just stupid.

The biggest job for Howie right now is market the hell out of those 2 FO staff that are interviewing for the GM job.

a 2nd, and four 3rd round picks could still add plenty of talent to the D while he trades our firsts for Watson. Add in a few free agents and we are looking really good for next year.

I would respectfully disagree.  Crapping the bed implies that he choked and folded under the pressure.

Hurts is a horrific passer.  A playoff team with good coaches just drew up a game plan to force him to pass.  This would/will/has happened every week in the regular season provided the same circumstances.

If you have a garbage team that can’t grab a lead or stop our run, then it’s a different story.  When Hurts has to pass, it will be like this every time.

I get that he’s bad and not good at passing but he looked bad for him.  I mean he did a poor job taking care of the football.  Some of that was the quality of the defense but a lot was on him.

If he does... I'm out.

Come on 9ers keep it going.

Part of his tendency to bail on the pocket is the fact that he’s 6’.  Some qbs make it work, but Hurts clearly doesn’t.  He can’t see over the line. He crouches in the pocket pre snap to the point it’s obvious he can’t even see the defense…his eye level is looking square at the ass of the OL.

When he runs out of the pocket, he can actually see in front of him.  Watch any real qb pre snap and they are standing tall.  Hurts crouches like a rb.

Yup - and when he bounces around to get a better view, his footwork goes out the window so he isn’t ready to deliver the pass when sees the open receiver.  He doesn’t have the arm strength to throw a good ball off an unsettled base, he has gather up and throw late.

I drank too much. Who starts with the ball next half?

Dallas, I believe.

Hurts leaves the pocket a lot, therefore the pass protection has to be bad... even though he leaves the pocket frequently for no reason.   The OL in pass protection was fine.   They weren't great, but they were good enough.  Ironically, I think the Bucs had more issues protecting Brady than the Eagles protecting Hurts, and that didn't seem to slow Brady down much.

AFan just keeps beating that drum and laying blame on the OL.  I'm starting to think he's full on delusional at this point.  Anyone who can't see how Hurts runs out of mostly clean pockets and puts himself in worse position either has an agenda or no idea what the Hell they are seeing.

I think E45 might be on to something how Hurts crouches down like a RB and can't see the D over the OL.  If you don't know where the D is pre-snap then you're not going to have any pocket presence and get scared and run away when you don't have to.

I'd prefer Hurts over Watson.

Hurts sucks. Dead end.

Watson isn’t coming here and he is not worth 3 first round picks. That’s not even considering what kind of  scumbag he may be.

Wouldn’t like Watson on the team.

Exactly... forgetting the cost, I don't want him here if it cost 0 picks.

In my opinion it has to start with Watson. From there it’s pass rush, play making LB, then WR, in that order.
I cringe at all the mocks that have us taking Linderbaum in the 1st. Interior OL is one of the few things we have looking good for us going into the future and that’s even with Kelce’s clock winding down.

Watson is the move to make. Howie already tried to trade for him once, he'll try again.

with just a QB and the same D we were very possibly a deep playoff team. That is the most important thing to get done. Do what it takes.

Nope.  Not Watson.

Not just his legal and civil issues, but he's shown to be a diva with all the bishing he did about not being included in the HC/GM decisions.  He's got way too much baggage and drama.

We deserve a pair of 3rd round picks if our female exec gets a gm job.  Or is that not an issue the nfl cares about?
