Will it be enough?  Stayed tuned. But as I pointed out, Watson looked just as bad in his first PO game.

It'll also help to have a defense that doesn't give up 17 points on the first three drives.

He needs to show the results on the field is the bottom line.  That's what matters.

I don't care about Watson and any comparison to how other QBs did in their first playoff game is meaningless.  Hurts was mostly poor today and left loads of plays on the field due to his inability to process quick enough or see enough of the field.  That's the #1 thing he needs to work on, though IMO these are more natural/innate qualities than ones that can be learned for him to improve to the level he needs to be on.  That's why I don't think his ceiling is much higher than what we're seeing now.

Though overall the D played decent today, they did get off to a bad start when they needed to come out firing.  Whether that's on Gannon for his scheme or the players or a bit of both, it's something that needs to be addressed going forward, but can be improved upon with upgrades to the D roster.  Hopefully this is a D heavy draft for us and maybe we even sign a good value quality FA or 2 to help.

I would trade our 2nd round pick (#51) for either Carr or Jimmy G.  I wouldn’t give a first round pick for either one, but I feel like a 2nd could get it done.

Much rather use #51 on Strong or Howell if they are there. At least with them there is a chance they could turn into something and would be much cheaper.
