Under the circumstances, I believe Ward made the smart throw.

Throw the ball at Hurts and hope for DPI. Football 101.

If that's true... we might have just witnessed the end of BG's career.

The way his entire lower leg/foot moved it could be possible.

This half is the first major test for Sirianni. Heart and soul of defense out with presumably serious injury. Team dominated first half and yet is still down. How does he respond?

Or don't do that stupid play

Brooks just can’t stay on the field

anymore

Texans lol

NVM Tyrod is apparently injured

Graham's injury is a punch to the gut.

Gotta win this one for him!

Let's go!

Of course.

Agreed, which is why I didn't bold that part.

Talent wise, Eagles can survive a Graham injury. A serious Brooks injury? Dickerson better be for real.

And the off-season restructuring means you are stuck with him, or add to the massive dead cap hit.

Especially since Lane isn't at 100%

I liked Nick just taking the points last week. Don't get cute. Just take the points man

So many good players getting hurt today. It's not just us.

Should be up 17-0 but Reagor is too stupid to have any attention to detail, Hurts refused to hit Goedert for an easy third down pick up, Whixh was Sirianni’s only good play call on third down. Ward a friggin’ college QB throws the ball away on a stupid fourth down call by Sirianni.

Truly clown show stuff.

That throw away would be stupid by anyone, let along a former college QB. He can walk home.

I get not putting undue risk on Hurts throwing to him there, but at least attempt to run if you're gonna be scared there.

I understand your throw and hope for DPI, but the positioning of the Niner defenders was such that the ball would have had to go through at least one of them just to get to Hurts.  The chances of DPI were much, much lower than the chances of an INT in my opinion ... but that's only an opinion.

I'm in favor of being aggressive... but in being aggressive, you need to be smart about it.

That play was a bad design, not just overdone.   That was a one man pattern to Hurts.  So, it was about Hurts being left undefended or Greg Ward being able to run it in.   Where was the back side option streaking through the end zone late to give another option?

On the original Philly Special, Nick was wide open, sure... but at the same time, Torry Smith was dragging along the back of the end zone to that same side and he was also wide open.  Ward had no other option in the end zone.  There was another player in the end zone, way to the left.

Emotionally... I'm not so sure.

We knew both Brooks and Graham would be unavailable sooner rather than later.  Graham injury sucks, but he’s an old dude.

With Brooks, I’m surprised the Brooks/Johnson combo made it through a full training camp, game, and change in 2021.  That’s what Dickerson is for.

Lane beat

Using Goedert to block Bosa. LOL

The downfield armstrength is an issue.

Ugly

Awful drive and a duck

We've dominated the entire game...suffer 2 injuries to starters...and will go into halftime without the lead.

Just bad breaks all around.

What happened to Brooks?
