How did the clock start running before the snap? I thought an injury timeout stopped the clock. (1:48 on the clock when the injury stoppage occurred). I assume that’s incorrect.

It stops the clock until the ref is set and then it runs

Still, whatever happened today, the Eagles aren't this bad

This was Hurts' 6th start. It wasn't good. He was good in his 5th start. He can turn it around next week.

That's the development of a young QB. The goal is to figure out if he's the guy by January.

I’ll save you the time….He’s not.

Well, yeah they missed plenty of opportunities.

But, you don’t think that 2 90 yard TD drives was a big part of the outcome?

Offenses are going to score points. Well maybe not ours.

BTW Hurts has a terrible deep ball. Hopefully he can improve on that

There's something just missing with Hurts and when I say that I don't mean the game was his fault, just speaking generally. He flashes at times, but lacks arm strength and is inconsistent. I thought he played a solid game. The Eagles lacking of skill positions is still evident. Young WR group is not going to be consistent throughout the season against other teams 1's, which is why the camp practices were way overhyped by too many media people.

Was not impressed with Sirianni today after coaching the pants off Smith last week. Didn't seem to have a good grasp of how to attack the Niners, gameplan was all over the place.

And no more bubble screens to Reagor. Just no more Reagor in general, he sucks.

I thought it was the right thing, honestly.

You always need to try to save one timeout, for replay challenge purposes. Unless that rule changed.

Still annoyed that Miami stole that win last week. They should be 0-2.

If the defense holds a team to 17 in the NFL today, that should be good enough to win.  That was true in Jim Johnson's day, it's more true today.

I’m not putting this on Hurts. The playcalling was fuucckking sshiittt

We had the talent to win this game, just too many mistakes and bad coaching.

Great game from Cox and Hargrave.   Offense sucked.  NS and Hurts need to quit worrying about what tee shirts and curtains to wear.

Remember when we all discussed what Hurts and the Eagles will do when a defense takes away the shot perimeter passing game?   We found out today.

Yep, he sucks. 50% and a fumble. Shocker.

Put up almost as many rushing yards as passing. Shocker.

Hurts missed a couple wide open plays.  The pocket was collapsing but he still was unaware of the other side of the field.

Defense came to play. Rest of team did not. And Slay was robbed of a turnover on a horrible call.

Hurts had a few under throws that didn't help

He wasn’t perfect obviously, but I really don’t think he was a problem. Sirianni and Reagor really let him down.

I don't think he's the one if they want to do that deep throws a lot

Only until the ball is set.

Nah, Hurts deserves blame too. He missed a couple deep shots.

In a vacuum, yes.

But, there’s more to the story today than just the points.

You simply cannot let a team go 90 yards, 15 plays each drive, TWICE for TD’s.

The offense had plenty of problems, mostly on coaching.

Hurts was awful.

Down two scores, I think the 40 seconds were more important. Honestly, we were a three and out away from having the ball with 2 minutes left.

Hurts isn't as bad as some of us thought (me included). But I don't think he's as good as some think either.

The drop off from Brooks to Dickerson was apparent

He missed a few deep shots. The play calling in the rezone was awful

Yeah this D has been better than I expected this year.  Not perfect…but the better unit so far

If the delay of game is called correctly, we're in excellent shape to win the game.

The game management was fine. The playcalling was not.
