Pulling the tag back from Trott may have cost them a SB.

It caused Westbrook to get injured (by Trotter).

IMO, swapping Carlos Emmons for Dhani Jones was more devastating.

I thought different.  We are lucky Dallas can't figure out how to find good coaching because that's the only thing holding them back.  Dak isn't what he was but he can still get the ball to Cooper and Lamb.  Cedrick Wilson, their #4 WR, is better than Jalen Reagor and it's showing now that he has to play for Gallup.  The more they use Tony Pollard instead of Zeke the better that team will be as well.  He's an explosive, fast RB.  If we see more #20 than #21, that's not good.  Their defense flies around and gets their hands on the ball.  Parsons looked scary good out there for his first game at DE.  LVE looks healthy and really flashed his talent again.  Their secondary has all the talent in the world but they continue to give up big plays.  Some of that might be on the Herbert and the Chargers offense but they also just seem to make mental mistakes.

I hate the Cowboys and I hate them even more because they have loads of talent on the team.  It sucks.

Agreed, I can't let the hatred for Dallas skew reality. They look pretty good to me, unfortunately

Someone posted about the Eagles lacking an identity earlier.  It's a good question.

What exactly was today's gameplan?  Was it to attack with go routes the entire game?  That's what it seemed like.

Miles Sanders had 13 carries but was averaging over 4 yards a carry.  Why not establish the run game more?  Side note, watching the Ravens, they have 3 street FA who just joined the team and their power running game looks better than the Eagles.

DeVonta Smith was targeted 7 times and only had 2 catches.  You traded up with a division rival to get him.  You need to make him the focal point of the passing game and give him the ball.  Get creative.  He needs the ball in his hands.

They dialed up the deep ball but clearly they weren't connecting.  Why no adjustments to run some comebacks, slants and work across the middle.

Last week we heard Sirianni say "players, players, players, players" and that seemed to be exactly what they did against the Falcons.  They ran and schemed plays that took advantage of what their players did best.  This week, outside of using Watkins speed on the deep ball, I can't name one play they ran that took advantage of what their players do best.

Today was not a well called game by Sirianni and Hurts completed 11 passes for 99 yards if you take away the Watkins catch, which you can't.

What do we as fans want this team to be?  Should we ride Sanders in to the ground while he's young?  Should we continually air it out?  Throw to Smith 15 times a game?  Be a tight end heavy team?  I literally have no idea right now.

Maybe we can get a QB with telekinesis that can make Reagor not step out of bounds while also making our coach not call a Philly special with our two 1’s, we will have to see what’s available.

Dallas is the worst opponent we'll face in the next 5 games (DAL, KC, CAR, TB, LVR). If we lose to Dallas, we could be facing 1-5/2-4.

Well if there is any year to tank, we have the picks.

He was in on some good tackle from what I remember

honestly, IMO, he's reckless and throws his body around to make tackles so it makes his tackles appear to be high impact or violent but in reality he's just diving a lot.  His style of tackle is to run and dive at a guy so he uses his weight as he falls backwards if that makes sense.  All of his tackles today fell in line with, well someone has to make a tackle.  Nothing behind the LOS, no big stops.

I agree with the previous poster, he's highly overrated, tallest midget.

Nah.  I’d rather get one who can go through his progressions and is comfortable with working the middle of the field.

Rattler isn’t coming out so Slovis? JT Daniels?

Probably true.

Here we go. 1-1 and the let’s tank crew is already out. I think I’m too pessimistic but some of you guys are just unreal

You ask for a lot.

Graham’s injury made DE perhaps top priority in the 2022 draft

I knew Hurts had a below average NFL arm, but it's really below average. The deep attempt to Reagor early in the 4th was beyond a noodle.

We are the Arby's of the NFL 🤣

So is Minshew active next week ??

No they aren’t.  That’s silly.

Dallas sucks.   So, they are.   Because Dallas always sucks.   Even when Dallas is good, Dallas sucks.

It won't come to that, Howie will throw in the farm for Watson.

Agreed mostly.

I will say that Smith isn’t really a guy you get "creative” with. He’s a traditional WR. He makes his living running traditional routes and beating people with precision.

If you want to get the best out of him we need more of traditional picket passing game based on timing and rhythm. Tough to do against those pass rushers with a young QB.

I don’t think it ever should have taken Graham’s injury to make DE a priority.

QB is too combustible to debate, so we can table that position for now.

I do think the right side of the OL is a bigger priority though.  Kelce is going to retire, Brooks is nearly toast due to injury, and we are just waiting on the other shoe to drop with Lane.  That’s 3 spots and all we have is Dickerson.

I can't remember if we got Barber to replace Emmons or if we had them both together for one season.

Both together.  We got Dhani Jones to replace Emmons.   Barber replaced Mike Caldwell, and was replaced by Nate Wayne.

God we will have to hear a whole group of complaints after that.

Alex Singleton might be the most overrated player on the team.

I said it all offseason and was told he was a legit starter.   He missed at least 3 tackles on 3 consecutive plays on one drive today.

Offensive gameplan and play-calling were fine, but you can tell we don't have an extensive passing game attack in the playbook. They know Hurts can't rip the ball down the field.

He doesn't have the physicality you want in a LB.

It was just timing!

Obviously.   It’s still silly to crown Carolina and The Raiders as some good teams.

I didn't crown them as good teams... I crowned them better than the Cowboys, and believe they are better than the Eagles.   I had this team pegged for 5 wins before the season.  I think it might be 6 games now.
