Eagles should be running this Ravens type of offense. Fits a guy like Hurts perfectly

Eagles can't score 1st and Goal from the 1.

Just not good enough to be taken seriously. Will love them nonetheless.

That breakdown above speaks volumes.

It just looks like a lack of execution honestly. On the first one Hurts throws Ertz open. But Ertz's effort is similar to last year. He just doesnt care. He slips, but he was slow to start adjusting to where the ball needed to be thrown anyway.

On the possible Ertz shuffle, it was there for a likely TD. But Ertz and Sanders appear to F up the fake, or its some sort of option and they made the wrong read not throwing that shuffle pass. Then when theyre running, Sanders doesnt block anyone. Hurts as a strong runner looks like he should pull away from a tackler there but doesnt try to turn up field till hes at the sideline. Looks like he can potentially dive for the goal line, but doesnt. Just takes a hit in the back to force him out of bounds.

The philly special was really the only play that didnt work based on design and 49ers readiness for it. The other 2 in that video- 1 could have worked, and 1 should have worked.

It explains why we had trouble developing WRs with Culley.

The Eagles have a QB that weighs about 230 and can deadlift 600 lbs and they don't try a sneak. The 49ers have Jimmy G. who is a lot smaller and they sneak him several times.

Game awareness again.  Throwing the football 3 rows into the stands doesn’t speak well for football IQ when it’s 4th down.  Hurts wasn’t open — throw it at him anyway; maybe the defense grabs him and you get a first down, maybe the defense loses the ball in the sun and it’s a TD ….. try running the damn ball in.

It wasn’t the right call by NS for sure; I would have taken the gimme FG and kept momentum — but a bad job by players makes the coach’s decision look dumber

Where the F did you want him to throw it?  If the defense intercepts, it’s a first down on a touchback or worse, a run ack, as opposed to where the ball was on a turnover on downs.  Run it, also likely better field position for the 49ers.  Ward did the right thing. Now if there was a RB that went up the middle that could have broken right and given a second option?  That is where I fault that play.

Never understood why Hurts gets no QB sneaks.

I wouldn’t go that far but definitely would like to see more of a power running game

I’m sorry, do the Eagles get awarded points if the fans catch a TD?  You’re worried about field position on a possible touchback instead of trying to score 7 points??

Holy F

You think Lurie regrets firing Big Red?

The defender’s back was turned. You throw that pass every single time. He is a former QB. He should know better.

I brought that up earlier. The one thing Wentz was always money on was sneaks. Hurts doesn’t have the size but should have the strength and athleticism to be decent at it. The one he scored on looked like he was kinda flopping around and got lucky so maybe it’s just not a strength.

I was never on the prematurely populated fire AR bandwagon until after the 2012 season.  His message got stale and the team quit on him.  And I think he quit on them too.

You can’t come back from that.  Lurie had to move on.

Harbaugh said, "Do you wanna go for this?"

And they ice it

Chiefs -2.5 just didn't make sense for this game, and there you go. Vegas knew something.

I thought he said "Do you want Philly, Philly?" and the answer was "Did you see what happened today?  No, just sneak it in there"

Ravens just won their SB.  This highlight will have to keep them warm in the winter when they win 0-1 playoff games.

An untimely fumble, otherwise you'd had to have felt good laying those pts. Chiefs was the "right" play, even if it ended up losing.

Edit: disregard the above, brain fart

Ah gotcha ok. I just saw the scoreboard when eagles scored and was told their was almost a comeback

I think it depends on your outlook to the game and how you feel about momentum. The scoreboard, imo, made it seem closer, but it would have taken a major swing and comeback win we haven’t seen in awhile.

Haha CEH is no Westbrook

Lamar/Watkins gave the Chiefs a quick seven right out the gate, too. Goes both ways.

But yeah, I would have taken Chiefs -2.5 all day. Just too obvious... so you'd think. Baltimore smashed KC's D with the run.

They still wouldn’t have covered if they got the FG.
