'Just a sprain' isn't a thing.  There are grades of sprains.  Grade 1 is a minor tear, which can usually repair itself with rest and rehab.  Grade 2 is serious, potentially year ending, can require surgery to repair, depending on the severity.    Grade 3 is a complete tear, almost always year ending and requiring surgery, depending on what is torn (MCLs don't usually end the season).   A broken bone is usually less severe than a sprain.   Let's hope its just a 'strain' or a Grade 1 sprain.

Randall Cunningham walked off the field with a torn ACL.  Carson Wentz walked to the locker room with a torn ACL and LCL.

Not saying it has to be bad, but just walking off doesn't mean anything necessarily.

Guess I should have been more specific.

Hopefully it's just an "MCL "sprain.

MCLs don't usually require surgery as you said, as they repair them selves with rest and rehab.

ACLs, PCLs,  and meniscus can all be more serious.

Hopefully it's just an MCL and hopefully a minor MCL Injury that doesn't require a lot of missed time

I don't know why you don't like cool Tshirts man. Can't you afford 1? Are you jelly bro? Want me to start a GoFundMe?

I don't want to be anywhere near tangibly related to Kitchens

Of course, but if the options are walking off vs carting off, the odds are clearly in your favor.

I suppose.  It's a step in the right direction... I just remember as a kid watching Randall walk off the field against GB and figured... 'He'll be back.'   Then he wasn't.   I still had the hope when Wentz went to the locker room, thinking... if the doctors examined him on the sideline, no way they let him walk to the locker room on a wobbly knee.  Was hoping for just a hyper extension and the locker room exam was just precautionary.

The cart almost always means the worst... but wasn't there a OL recently who was carted off in a game, and then came back within the same game to play? . Or did I dream that.  For some reason, I'm thinking it was a Giants' OL.

So no Tshirts then? Shirts vs Skins it is!!

Doesn't matter to me... but be careful with the 'skins talk.  We don't want to relive the Washington debacle again.

My first real memory of the Eagles was Cunningham standing in the tunnel after Eric Allen picked it off for the touchdown and ran to Randall

Yeah, that was Game 4 - 1993.

The Cunningham ACL was in 1991 - Game 1, early second quarter.

(I have those moments indelibly burned into my brain.)

Yes I know but, I was 11 at the time of the one against GB. I remember it, just doesn't stick in my mind as much as the one against the Jets because well I was older and starting to understand the game more.

I was 14.   Just starting to really figure it out.

Damn we really need to find the turn off injury button like they have in madden

See that's what I'm saying lol. When I was 11 the QB going down didn't mean anything to me lol. I was like oh well they have more lol.

Plus I knew they had McMahon and I was like good he won a super bowl. Not knowing he was terrible lol.

This is kind of a big game for Nick coming up. He’s already bordering on the pandering/meme level of a coach with the "Beat Dallas” shirt which is fine if you get the job done, but if the losses start to pile up and they get embarrassed Monday night people are going to get sick of the shtick real quick.

Let's fire the coach he's had 3 games to make the playoffs and hasn't

Defense gets its first real test this season before they head into the gauntlet of facing the Bucs and Chiefs passing attack.

Colts OL has been struggling, Wentz banged up making the 1st rounder situation more precarious. Eagles have a spare OT who could secure the Eagles getting more assurance for that 1st round pick, but he'll need a good performance against a weak DL to raise his value again.

We don't have a spare LT though. Also pretty sure Dillard would be  counterproductive to keeping Wentz healthy

1-5 after 6 weeks.  Yay.
