It's the hipster thing to do

I just don’t see a down side to it. It’s not like there’s no games on Saturday and Sunday.

There’s nothing going on prime time on Monday night. It actually gives me something to look forward to.

Not sure how we are able to compete in this one without Boston Scott.

And McLeod is set to miss his third game. Probably should have kept him on PUP.

McLeod is washed at this point. Sad thing is his still the best option at this point. Glad to see those draft picks working out Howie.

Now Mailata is hurt?

Oh well, time to root for the high draft pick...

There's a decent chance he's not but will get forced into the lineup. He wasn't good two years coming back from a knee injury, and now he's on the wrong side of 30.

Of course not.  You've been practically openly rooting against the team since last season ended.

Nope.  I just have no problem being honest about the state of the team.  Injuries are going to cause issues the next 3-4 weeks with Mailata out.  This team is not top 15 in the league, and can not afford to be losing premier players.  Panthers game is in 16 days, and they will be without their two best offensive lineman, their best DE, and they looked deflated walking off the field at half time last week.

Being honest is not hate, and it is not rooting against the team.

And you are the last one to talk.  You openly rooted against the QB who won the Eagles a Super Bowl.

Been a long season.  Happy you were able to hang in with us this long.

You were watching the Steelers and they did look bad.

He played well last season.  I'm not optimistic about his recovery from a 2nd ACL but he's not having to play much man to man.  An experienced safety in a 2 deep zone could be very good in terms of take away.  Also, I didn't think Wallace has played poorly.

Panthers are also dealing with injuries now.

They aren't some world beater team. They aren't in the same class of the Chiefs and Bucs for you to say you wouldn't be surprised to see us lose to the Panthers as much as them.  It will be a game the Eagles should be competitive in and have a chance to win.  That isn't the case for the Chiefs or Bucs.

You hate Roseman, you hate the players he has drafted and you hate Hurts. It's pretty clear what gives you the most joy this season is when this team loses.

Would have thought K’von Wallace would have taken that job by now but another draft pick wasted

I certainly did not have the expectations of a 2nd year 4th round draft pick taking the starting job over an established veteran who is a captain on the team.

Speaking of old washed up players Ben Roethlisburger has finally fell off a cliff.

To be fair injuries are nothing new to this team I don’t think you can blame it on Sirianni when old coach had same issue

A vet coming off 2 ACL’s and over 30?
I guess if your happy with Mediocrity then have at it.

Yes, I do not like Howie Roseman.  He is the reason we are in this horrible position.

I do not hate any of the players.  Once again, pointing out a players short comings is not hate.  Sometimes the truth hurts.

How come you only defend Jalen Hurts.  This board crushes JJAWful, Greg Ward, Boston Scott, Avonte Maddox, used to crush Pryor and a ton of others.  Across the board, all of these players were drafted by the same guy, and across the board they are not good enough.

I take no joy in the Eagles losing, but I can be real about it.

Are you now gong to claim that the dislike of players is racist again ??

Blame Canada

On that Carolina game, the panthers aren’t putting mccaffrey on IR according to schefter. If they were then would be out at least 3 weeks. Meaning he’d miss that game for certain. Not out of the question he could play that game it’s 2.5 weeks from the time of the injury since it happened on Thursday night.

What is the thought process here? McLeod was really good last year before his injury.  If Wallace was a 2nd round draft pick or something then yeah there should be expectations of starting.  But once you get to the 4th round you're just realistically hoping for someone who can be a contributor in some role and if they end up becoming a solid starter or more all the better.

I defend Greg Ward.  What is the criticism of the other players that needs defending? JJAW is now in his 3rd year with plenty of time and opportunity to show something.  Pryor isn't on this team.  I don't see Scott or Maddox talked about hardly ever at all and they are just minor role players.

You aren't being real about your hate at all.  Heading into week 1 you were talking about how the Eagles will lose because of Matt Ryan vs Jalen Hurts and nothing else about the two teams mattered with the potential outcome of the game.

100% false.  What I said, when you brought up he had no pre season reps like Hurts, is he has 200 starts under his belt and pre season means 1000x less to him than it means to Jalen Hurts.  You know, the same Jalen Hurts that you keep using the excuse " he is in a new system with only six career starts ".  Sounds like a guy who needs pre season reps to me.

If you read what I said I was knocking Howie and his drafts or lack there of.

I am sure he read it, he must have a cognitive processing deficiency so he is slow to get it.

And I also brought up how the Falcons have a terrible defense and how Matt Ryan over the past 5 years prior to this season only averaged something like 15 points against the Eagles.  How Matt Ryan has only had like 2 games in his career 6 or 7 years ago where he actually put up a good amount of points on the Eagles.  To which you had issue with me pointing out the 5 year average and not including those only 2 games which were further back in time to show how Matt Ryan really wasn't a threat to go off on the Eagles in week 1.  You didn't want to hear any of it though because your typical Eagles hating self only wanted to talk about how the Eagles were doomed in week 1 because  Jalen Hurts can't compare and compete with Matt Ryan and what he was going to do to the Eagles.

I get it but it's silly to have the expectation that a 2nd year 4th round draft pick was going to supplant an established veteran on the team who is a captain.  That is putting too high of expectations in any 4th round draft pick heading into their 2nd year unless they surprised with a huge rookie season.

I never compared them as players.  I compared a guy with 200 career starts not needing pre season reps, but a guy, checks notes, in your words " is in a new system with 6 career starts " needing pre season reps

I think you are just mad that me hating on Jalen Hurts won't make him win a Super Bowl like you hating on Nick Foles led to this.

That’s just how bad the drafting has been. Howie is missing on 1st 2nd3rd round. It’s been pretty bad for a while now.
