Just have a feeling that the Eagles are going to play well tomorrow night....and I always love playing the Cowboys after they are coming off a win and smelling themselves too much

What made him "unlikable”?   Guy was always good to and in the press.  Was pretty vanilla but well spoken.  Wasn’t an A Hole.  Got boo’d on f-ing draft day.  Handle it better than most of us would.  Got ish on all the time in Philly.  He was the best QB in franchise history.  Andy Reid couldn’t win the big one in Philly either.  Yet people blew him and jumped on the KC bandwagon for what?  McNabb has always been the scapegoat and I never understood it.

Never understood it either. He helped make us contenders for close to a decade, sure he never won us the big one but it certainly takes more than the QB. People just like to ish on certain people.

I don't think Miami is going to have a good season.

The Colts will likely be better, but I don't think they'll be all that impressive either.

We likely won't win a ton of games. Shocking, I know.

If Wentz stays healthy we are looking at three high firsts. Let's hope by some miracle they're all top 15.

In all likelihood they won't be, but the amount of talent we could add would be wonderful.

With 3 possible top 15 picks I don't think there is a QB worth taking that high.  Howell and Rattler were supposed to be the top 2 guys I believe and neither has lived up to expectations.  Think it's time they loaded up on both lines.

Rooting interests for the day.. Colts and Raiders.   Obviously we don't want the Colts to have too good of a record, but at the same time, them being 'in the hunt' for as long as possible keeps Wentz playing as long as he's healthy... and keeps them pushing him to get back out there.

Beating the Titans will help on two fronts.  The Titans are their top competition to win that division.  Gotta keep them from running away with it.

Easy to root against Miami all year. No upside otherwise.

I'm rooting for the Titans today. There's no guarantee Wentz plays 75% of the snaps, therefore I want the Colts to be as bad as possible. If they have a top 10 pick, the worse we can get from them is pick 42...a very valuable pick.

Flacco for a 4th Steelers

I think they'd be better off rolling with Haskins.

That's not it at all.  From the beginning ,I said how much I liked Donovan as a player and what he did for the team.  All I stated was the way he acted, post-playing career has turned me off to him.  Do we have to like every person that played for the Eagles?  If someone acts like an ass or says dumb things are we not allowed to conjure up our own opinions of them?  Both Donovan and TO have acted like children at one point or another.

The main point I was trying to make was that Ben Simmons, with his current actions, is going to make us forget about alllll of the other Philly athletes who have done something to make us not like them.

Just because we are Eagles fans does not mean we have to like the guys who suit up for the team.

That's another way to go with it, certainly.  I still want that first round pick.  And, there's no guarantee that they might not shut him down for the year at a certain point if they are terrible and he's dinged up.  So, I want them within striking distance.

They should have traded for Minshew.

For you college football guys.  Who's stood out as players you might like the Eagles to add at some point?

For me, Isaiah Spiller, the RB from Texas A&M just always impresses me.  I think he's going to be a great pro.  Probably a 2nd round pick.  6-1 225, great all around back.  Spiller and Gainwell would be an imposing backfield.

Michigan RB, Blake Corum has stood out.  5-8 200, very Westbrook like in the way he's built and plays the game.  Exciting player.

Matt Corral, he's been discussed.  Probably the top QB in the draft to me.

UGA TE Brock Bowers.  Mentioned him yesterday.

Florida QB Emory Jones.  He's not a franchise QB but I think he'll be a great backup, especially if Hurts is the guy.

ND safety Kyle Hamilton.

ND RB Chris Tyree and Kyren Williams.  Tyree is a blazer who could come in here, be a change of pace and solve KR questions. Williams is another good all around back.

I haven't noticed too many stud LB or pass rushers yet, at least none have stood out as top 10 pick kinds of guys in the games I've watched.

Florida had a LB, Moon, who looked pretty good.

Silly Manu.  LBs are for other teams.   We don't worry about such things.

Not exactly a ringing endorsement

I have not got to far into looking at college players, other than qb’s, and right now not sure I see one we should spend a first on. If we ended up with the 3 ways scenario, I’d have hoped for a DB, DE and OL that were worth those picks

Meh.  Simmons was the top prospect in a weak NBA draft class.  Only played one NCAA season, and didn’t have an outside shot in college either — he just can’t shoot.  Couple that inherent limitation with the ‘don’t give a crap attitude’ you speak on and the Sixers have what they’ve got.  I think you’re overrating his ceiling.

He needs to be switched to SF, because you can’t count on him with the ball in his hands — especially late in games, and teams don’t have to honor his outside shot AT ALL.  His niche should be taking the pass, getting in off the wing, and powering the ball into the hoop — or kicking the ball back out to a 3-point SG.

FT% in college is the best predictor of shooting in the pros, b/c it's a cold test of eye to hand coordination, if a player has that, you can teach them to shoot, if not, good luck.

That should have been the red flag with Ben, and why he'll never be a great player in today's NBA, he not only can't shoot outside of 5', he can't shoot FTs.

Now hard work could raise him from putrid to mediocre, but he'll never be able to shoot like James or Jordan, where hard worked improved them from mediocre to above average.

He never had to be able to shoot like James or Jordan, just better than a middle schooler... and more importantly be willing to shoot.  That was his biggest failing - fear of shooting.

I don’t disagree - I’m just not sure what actions of McNabbs you didn’t like?

Ben Simmons is a fraud, go away.

If they have 3 1sts, and if none of these QBs are worth the pick, then the goal should be to flip a first this year for a first next year to have more flexibility next year.

Not moving all that well.

Id say kick the can down the road every year till Arch Manning declares. We have min 3 to 4 years to go.

But I agree, I would never take any of the QBs in this coming draft.

Maybe the Colts are a bad organization? Luck "retired" out of the blue. Costanzo retired earlier than his skill-level would have dictated.
