Yep. Give Hurts 25 total, give them one non rushing TD each week and even give them successful 2 pt conversions every single time. We still aren’t breaking 20 ppg

I think it would be unfair to expect Hurts to lead a top 6-8 offense in his first full season, but I’d be pretty satisfied with something like 26 TDs, 13 INT, 62% comp, and getting the team to 7-8 wins even.

I listened to the Zangaro & Reub podcast; Zangaro said his biggest worry this season is Hurts looks just good enough to fool the brass into thinking there’s a real future with him at QB.  Of course Reub is sold already — he believes Hurts will show he’s the guy.

Interestingly enough they both predicted Hurts between 32 and 34 total TDs.  I guess they disagree on what that would mean.

Besides ESP, Reub is next in line as the biggest Hurts fanboy so I’m not surprised. Stats will play a part of the story, but not the only part. Just like the games will and just like context will. But to show the Eagles FO and fan base "zero need” at QB he’s going to have to at least be in the top half of the league.

@LeanMeanGM

Falcons 27, Eagles 17. I think it will take a couple of games for our offense to mesh.

Guess where Goedert goes to in 2022 if we don't resign him?

The team his father named him after(Dallas) and we will regret it for many years. I wouldnt let him walk. In a full time role he will be a beast.

Can always franchise him. But letting him earn it by proving he can be a productive top level TE while also maintaining trade flexibility is wise.

The way TE contracts are going franchising him would probably be a bargain

Their first offseason without BoB has been less than inspiring. They’re signing a bunch of players as old as their HC.

They haven’t had a first round pick since 2019. Trading Hopkins and giving a kings ransom for Tunsil was unbelievably stupid. Next year the rebuilding starts for them they finally have a first rounder and who knows some team will pay for Watson if he’s not getting rub downs in prison

I wouldn’t touch betting on prop bets for this team with a 10’ pole. Things are such a toss up with new coaches, etc. Devonta could have 12 catches or 2. Not sure what his usage will be and game script will dictate how many passes they throw.

Avoid for sure but if forced take the under.

Agreed.

Could see Miles get 20 touches along with Gainwell and Scott getting another 10-15. Complete unknown with Sirianni until the games are played.

So this was Hard Knocks..

Always thought the Cowboys underperform because they are a weak-willed bunch of thugs.

Now I think: Gee.. but the coaching is so damn bad over there too.

I did take the Eagles at +3.5

I think the game will be reasonably close. Falcons offense should be good but I’m not all that threatened by it. Calvin Ridley vs Slay should be a good matchup. Not sure what to see from Pitts but being a rookie in his first game, don’t know if he’ll light it up. Really depends on what Matt Ryan shows up this Sunday. I think on paper Eagles defense is improved from last year, and Eagles DL looks to have a dominant game, which usually means mean they’ll underachieve. I think Falcons defense is so bad that Eagles offense can still hang in there even if there’s some growing pains.

Eagles twitter is already lowering the bar

Yeah, going to heavily disagree on that one.

2019 he averaged 234 passing yards per game.  In 2020 he averaged 251 passing yards per game.

The 250 is combining passing and rushing, which is putrid.

Not Eagles related but everything gets talked about in here... Penalty is up to 10yrs in prison.

I thought so at first, but that’s better than or in line with what Lamar, Tannehill and Mayfield did last year.

Especially when you factor in the turnovers...no thanks.

He put that up with just Chark. He'll exceed that with Smith, Watkins and these TEs

All of those guys have an elite running game and turn the ball over much less than Jalen will.
