I don’t think they’ll care about his feelings if they’re sitting at 4-9.

Then be prepared to lose him for good, there is no coming back from that with him.

Yeah they wouldn’t bench him. Imagine them paying a 2nd round pick for a one year rental.

The only way they can bench Wentz is if he will be off the team next season.

Hopefully next week Indy beats Miami, probably best case scenario for us in that game

Colts need to get some wins to stay 'in it'.   Titans need to lose to keep it close.

I see Logan Wilson had an INT today against the Steelers.  He's a guy I wanted the Eagles to draft but they decided to take Davion Taylor instead.  Now a starting LB for the Bengals and making an impact.  Meanwhile, Taylor

Being a great deep threat in this era isn't enough.

I'm not talking about first ballot.  I am talking about getting in at all.   Jackson doesn't have the resume.

That was mine from the beginning. I don’t know why the betting numbers are for the chiefs but would be a good time to bet them winning the afc cause I’m guessing you are getting good numbers

I haven't watched their games to know what this little losing streak of theirs is about, but I just can't see Lamar Jackson running his way to a shootout victory against Mahomes ever again...and certainly not in the playoffs.  Even the Browns gave the Chiefs a run for their money in their only win this year, but I just can't see them hanging either...Baker can't do that.

The Bills are my "AFC team" due to my wife's family.  I only have one team and don't pull that dual fan BS, but I like to see the bills do well.  And because I am a natural nit picker and have a small rooting interest in the Bills, I just see too many flaws in that team to believe they are a threat.  For better and for worse, I see so much of Carson Wentz in Josh Allen.  I don't think there is enough precision to his game to hang in a playoff shootout.

The SB hangover is real though.  And the KC egos may have gotten so far out of control that they spent all offseason focused on playing better in the SB this time around rather than the 17-20 games that come first.  But they got their wakeup call early.

Assuming Wentz played all the offensive snaps listed in the nfl.com gamebook.

I agree that Desean does not belong in the HOF.  But Desean also helped to create this era.  He's one of a handful of guys who are the reason the fastest WR in every draft ends up being the first one off the board.

I’d say the browns but i dont trust baker in bug game when they need him to make a play to be able to come through. I think the bills are up there but i don’t know how they managed to lose to the Steelers who can’t throw the football. I still would bet on mahomes and reid. We’ve seen reid right a ship before. The eagles once started 0-2 and managed to get the one seed. Even if they are a wild card team it’s not a team I’d want to face. They also need to get CEH more involved. He’s looked good when he’s gotten touches and he was making guys miss. He also has to hold onto the ball.

I know was just agreeing with you and what you said about guys with way better numbers had to wait for how long. I was pointing out TO had even better numbers then those guys and still had to wait.

So it will be a big fat nope for Jackson

It would be nice for Bills' fans if they made some noise in the playoffs.  It's been a long time.

Well him and Moss.

I'm talking about corners not being able to touch the receivers era. Not the deep ball threat era.

Meh...not so sure I agree with that.  Al Davis was one of the biggest reasons and he was doing it long before Jackson entered the league.

I agree with this. The Colts are not into tanking. They didn't tank when Luck retired. Ballard is a "football" guy. Let's just hope they beat the Dolphins next week.

I don't want anyone to think I'm arguing for Desean in the HOF...he doesn't belong.

Just my perception though...Randy Moss didn't change the game.  He was just an unstoppable freak.  6'4"-6'5" with inhuman speed, length, and better strength than he got credit for.  That doesn't change anything or make coaches say...oh, let's draft and use more guys like Randy Moss.

Desean showed that a guy with lightning speed and quickness who is completely non-physical and under 5'11" can actually be a #1 WR in the NFL...not just a 3rd down gimmick player and PR, which is what those types were used as in the 90' early 00's.  The profile of round 1 WRs over the last 3-5 years is so, so different than it was before Desean and Hill.

Rodgers running the ball.  what a stupid ahole

Show me a Round 1 WR that fits the bill for either Desean (Round 2) or Hill (Round 5).   Who are you referring to?

Haven't heard much from DK Metcalf this year, more Tyler Lockett.  Is he injured?

He just put up a 100+ yard game with a TD

Only one I could think of was Tavon Austin.

I was thinking Tedd Ginn but, realized he was drafted before Jackson.

I get what he is saying though. I would just say that teams aren't as afraid of drafting guys with small frames because of guys like Desean.

I don't think he necessarily changed the way teams draft, just not as cautious with guys of that size

Logan Wilson was taken with the first pick of round 3. Taylor went about 40 picks later.

We needed a backup QB instead of him in round 2.

They have him beyond this year. They aren’t going to just throw him away for the investment they put in. It’s also a really bad look to the rest of the locker room too.

John Ross, Henry Ruggs, Tavon Austin, Hollywood Brown, Jalen Reagor, Brandin Cooks, Phillip Dorsett, Corey Coleman, Jaylen Waddle.

Most small frames, some of them stout...but all short and fast and drafted without hesitation in round 1.

The Dolphins are such morons. Why in the hell did they trade down and then trade up for Waddle. They needed so much more than WR. Could’ve had a QB or Sewell. If they wanted a WR that bad they could’ve just taken chase at 3. And if they didn’t. Then why not stand pat at 12?

Their idiocy is the Eagles gain.
