We definitely want the Colts to beat the dolphins next week.  Keep the Colts away from that panic button and keep Wentz on the field.  Meanwhile, keep driving up the value of our Dolphins pick.  The more losses the Dolphins ring up between now and the decrease in Watson's asking price, the less likely they'll be to make that investment in what has become an uphill climb of a season.

It may hurt to ask for it, but we want a big, confidence boosting game from Wentz next week.

John Ross, Henry Ruggs, Tavon Austin, Hollywood Brown, Jalen Reagor, Brandin Cooks, Phillip Dorsett, Corey Coleman, Jaylen Waddle.

Most small frames, some of them stout...but all short and fast and drafted without hesitation in round 1.

I guess you are right.   They are being drafted stupid early now.

The flip side is that only one of them even remotely really lived up to that pick, Cooks... and he's on his 4th team in 8 years in the league.  Ross - bust.  Ruggs - jury out, Austin - bust.  Brown - not a '#1' WR, Reagor - we are hoping he can be a #2, Dorsett - bust, Coleman - bust, Waddle - too soon.  The NFL always swings the pendulum in reaction to trends, but it swings back... the smaller WRs busting a lot would be an indicator that they were over-drafting those players.

The Dolphins are such morons. Why in the hell did they trade down and then trade up for Waddle. They needed so much more than WR. Could’ve had a QB or Sewell. If they wanted a WR that bad they could’ve just taken chase at 3. And if they didn’t. Then why not stand pat at 12?

Their idiocy is the Eagles gain.

Bad things happen when you draft and commit to the wrong QB.

Their trade down with SF was great.  Trading up with us...eeh, I liked Waddle more than Smith too, but Smith and a 1 vs. Waddle alone feels like a no brainer.

I can't really argue that it has worked out well...I agree they are being overdrafted.  But it's clear that the precedent from Desean and Hill after him has teams lusting after having that type of player in their offense.  They are trying to find them.  But it's not working so well...

I think round 2 is the sweet spot for the KJ Hammler's, Rondale Moore's, Paris Campbell's, Mecole Hardman's, Curtis Samuel's....these guys aren't all studs either...but at that spot in the draft, it's a lot easier to fall in love with their speed and accept their limitations.

They didn't even commit to Tua, it's freaking bizarre with their thought process down there.

I’m still not understanding why Miami did that. They must have thought Pitts would fall. Waddle looked good but not two first round picks good.

I don't think understanding Miami is something we want to know.

The drafted Tua 5th overall then pulled him everytime a game got close cause they didn't think he could handle it.

Agreed.

The first issue is that they severely overdrafted Tua.  He should be a late first round pick...later still depending on what medical info they were getting.

Very accurate, seemingly good attitude, massive stats...that should get a QB in round 1.  But his pure talent is also lacking...short, middling arm, injury prone, and the concern that his stats were boosted playing behind an NFL OL with...not even NFL WRs....no NFL team could even afford all those WRs.

He had no business in the top 5.  But then they treat him like the late 1st / early 2nd round pick that he should have been with their commitment.  Makes no sense.

Sounds familiar minus the accurate part

Matt Lefleur didn’t even try a trick play.

You take the fing points on the road

Maybe the 49ers defense is just really good in the Redzone... 🤷‍♂️ 😅

BS PI call.

I don't even know how to track this, so lets go with 2 passes and 2 runs longer than 35

Sure, that works too.

Colts need to get some wins to stay 'in it'.   Titans need to lose to keep it close.

That’s my train of thought too. It’s also why I’m glad Denver & Raiders are 3-0. I hope Jax or Houston can sneak a win over Indy

Great day all around for our rooting interests. Colts lost, Wentz played all snaps. Dolphins lost. Both NYG and WTF lost.

And if we lose to the Cowboys tomorrow it won’t matter

Hate to say it but its not a matter of "If". More about how much we lose by and how bad we look doing it.

Eagles could very well be 1-6 after 7 games, but I honestly don’t think most people would really care all that much. This is a transition year, how individual players look is more important than wins and losses. Though they obviously intersect at a certain point.

And Kyle Shanahan coaches like a **** in tense spots.

San Francisco’s Offense sucks. Can’t believe we lost to them.

Well since it’s on the subject, I’ll predict 31-17 Cowboys tomorrow. I think it’s a bad spot for the Eagles, and it could be an ugly game. Think they’re closer to how they looked vs the Niners than vs Falcons, but I will say this about Sirianni. This is the type of game a new head coach could really turn heads. Most people expecting the Eagles to lose, if they come out and look really prepared and have the Cowboys on their heels it’ll be really impressive by Sirianni.

Team looks somewhat promising. Cant help but be excited about the picks that could be coming. They could have a horrible record this year, and I could still see a very quick turn around coming with the picks, and some free agent money next year.

I thought we were in for a 4-5 win season, but I don’t think we can look as good as we did against ATL and not show up with that version of the team enough to top that total.  And the Giants should be 2 free wins.  Might have to settle for 1-3 against the rest of the division.

But that gets us 4 wins right there.  Throw in a couple other flukey games and the Jets.

They definitely could turn it around fast as long as they don't blow the picks. If they use them to trade up for a QB next draft, then that would be a disaster.

Need a major influx of talent with these picks
