Eagles could very well be 1-6 after 7 games, but I honestly don’t think most people would really care all that much. This is a transition year, how individual players look is more important than wins and losses. Though they obviously intersect at a certain point.

And Kyle Shanahan coaches like a **** in tense spots.

I would care. I’ll never be a let’s lose and get better draft picks person. That loser mindset is for all you cheddardix

Need a major influx of talent with these picks

In a three 1st scenario where Howie decides to kick the can on the QB position, I say go lineman heavy, one on each side of the trenches, while using the third 1st on whoever of Elam/Stingley/Booth is left on the board.

They definitely could turn it around fast as long as they don't blow the picks. If they use them to trade up for a QB next draft, then that would be a disaster.

It would be...

I do think Watson makes us a contender right now. Id do that if he is cleared in time. But I wouldnt want to trade it all for a rookie. Id rather go with Minshew for the year.

Stingley, Thibodeaux, and Justyn Ross or OL. Would be huge for the team.

I think that was a pretty smart play. Would that be considered a FB sneak? Never saw that before.

The backup, running, QB drawing attention. FB lined up in the slot, motioned under center for a sneak. Good use of the personnel.

Chewy is offering up Toy Story pet toys. Star Wars too. Thinking of getting a couple as my daughter and son were both fans of the former and I introduced my rocket scientist son to the latter.  (For the pets, not my kids.)

Eagles need to draft well.

Only difference between us and Green Bay, is they finished their scoring chances in the first half.

Otherwise, they're playing San Fran very similar to the way we did.

Team looks somewhat promising. Cant help but be excited about the picks that could be coming. They could have a horrible record this year, and I could still see a very quick turn around coming with the picks, and some free agent money next year.

Don't count on that last part.

Yeah Rodgers and Hurts are basically the same QB

But your personal feelings can be not being satisfied with losses, while also objectively knowing that in a league where you can turn things around fast, a team with a top 10 pick and perhaps upwards of 3 top 10 or top 15 picks could be a crazy good jumping off point for the next era of Eagles football in building a team that can be highly competitive for many years.

So the only difference is Green bay knows how to score and we dont?

I feel so much better now about this season.

we had like negative 80 milllion this year and still managed to make a few decent signings.

I know its not gonna be by a lot, but I do think we are starting out in the positive this time. Howie can do a lot with that.

All they have to do is pick good players.

Chiefs Twitter says Andy Reid is doing ok and is in "stable condition."

Maybe it's just me, but would they use that term if he just was dealing with some nausea or something?

I'm used to that term being used when someone suffers a relatively serious medical event, but maybe that's not the case.

If you can't see the similarities between the way both games have played out I can't help that.

There’s a reason it’s routinely the same teams picking high every year. Unless there’s a generational talent at QB then there’s no reason to want to lose. None.

Maybe they could just stop their opponents from scoring more than themselves.

Hurts doesn’t have that TD throw by Rodgers in his arsenal.  Those throws are the difference between winning and losing the tough games

I didn't say want to lose, I said not care if they lose. There's a difference between outright rooting for losses and draft position and not being broken up if your team just happens to lose and suck.

Unless they're trying to lose........like week 17 last year.

Oh I’ve accepted the fact that my existence has nothing to do with the outcome of football games but those draft picks don’t matter when you got idiots making picks
