Wilson has slowed down with getting hits out of the  pocket and Stafford, although on a terrible lions team really cleaned up the extra hits too(for who for what on that lions team)

I also think the sky is the limit with Stafford/Mcvay. I took a rash of crap but I truly think he's top 3-4 in the league right now and has been.

Not to mention, the new rules will allow some QB's who take care of themselves to play into their 60s it seems

Yup. Wilson has adjusted his style, Mahomes should pay attention there. Added 5 years to his prime.

Stafford is a really good QB. He was wasted with that crap franchise.

So how bad we getting beat by tonight?  Dallas is the only team in the division with a real QB (albeit he isn't that great, but he is better than what the other 3 teams have at the moment)

I say we lose by 20+ tonight. Seriously dont think it will be close in the 2nd half.

In the end, Archie Manning was right. Had Eli started his career with that Mickey Mouse SD franchise he might have struggled early and became a career backup. I don’t think we quite understand the importance of being in the right environment/system.

Is that bad?

Where are the Jets in comparison?  Their O is putrid right now

Stafford is 33. I'm happy to see him get a shot with a good team, but his window is shorter than the other guys.

Wilson is 32 as well.

Allen, Burrow, & Herbert seem like they have the style of play that can stick around. Mahomes I wonder about, he has sick talent but needs to take care of his body.

I think Wilson and Stafford both have at least 5 seasons of potential elite play.  Wilson has been really healthy and he has mobility and arm strength like Rodgers. Stafford has the arm and quick release that will allow him to be productive into his late 30s.

Well having a QB who’s best quality is running and a crappy OLine doesn’t help.

I think it’s close Dallas has no defense and a banged up/bribing OLine

The talent level on the Giants offense is not so bad they should be 32nd in offense. They can't scheme anyone open: it's like having 2020 Doug Pederson for 3 straight years.

Remember when the media was fawning all overt themselves with the Gettleman hiring?  Yeah I wasn't impressed then, and I am certainly not now. LOL

Wait, we are another Oline injury or two away from being in the same position. LOL

The funny thing is, Danny Dimes has been getting very favourable media coverage.  I did laugh at the Giants fans cheering when Evan Engram was taken out of the game.  All is not well at the take a lap team

Garrett just needs to make one more clap to turn on their offense.

F that.

hey I aint happy about it, I just dont see us hanging with them. Each passing week teams get more of a book on NS and Hurts' Offense. Dallas is clearly the best team in our Division, they have the best QB. Our Oline and Dlines have already taken big hits.

And they all think Joe Judge is a genius head coach.

It looks Big Red was severely dehydrated but for someone his age and size, you never know if there are underlying conditions at play.

Moving onto the Niners, the shot Adams took helmet to helmet that wasn't called was embarrassing. That Zebra team had a poor old game overall.

Still, its Dallas game day.  Their DL is injured and small, so there should be opportunities to run the ball consistently tonight

They could have thrown the flag late while he was still on the ground. Don't know if it was a pride thing or what. How do they think he was on the ground? There was clearly a big hit

Him not having a concussion and going back out there was amazing though

Yup. Mailata and Brooks injured. Lane not 100% and has been beat. At least Kelce and LG have been consistent

Dallas' D is putrid. We have a solid chance if the offense plays well.

O-line will be missing Collins.

And it's a divisional game.

I agree that as the season wears on whatever advantage we get from the unknowns of a new coach and QB diminish. But week 3 is a bit early for that. And even if their D scouts us they don't have the players.

As strange as it sounds, our WRs are superior to the Dallas secondary. There should be some big play opportunities.

Wilson is up there. But other than Stafford there's no pocket passer right now that I'd say is top 10 that will be around (well, Brady may prove me wrong and be the first QB in the AARP). Guys like Jackson I expect to be good to great for a half dozen years, but that's a different kind of QB relationship ... Closer to what RBs became: you know there is a shorter prime career, I wonder if that won't be built in to contracts.

Allen I think is good. And I like Burrow too.

Who are the running qb’s that will be around?

They need a sky judge in the NFL. SOmeone in front of a  TV. that can see 3-4 different replays before the refs even place the ball for the next play.

A quick, o, you missed that drop a flagg, or that penalty had nothing to do with the play pick up the flag.

They kind of have that with HQ in NY. NY will stop the game if they want to review something

Hopefully we see growth out of Nick and his playcalling tonight

Probably playing in college.

I think Lamar and Kyler will be around. They may be toward the back half of their careers, but they'll be around and still effective - just not as effective as they are with their legs at 23/24 years old.

Mobile QBs that can mature their game like Wilson are going to stick around longer. Players like Cam for example who rely way too much on their feet and never grow as QBs don't last much past 30.

Since when?  They won 6 games last season, and even when Dak was healthy the year before they were an 8-8 team.  If Rivera and Del Rio can get their defense to show up WFT is the best team in the division -- but it's wide open.

As much as it pains me to say this, No Dallas has the best team this year. It starts with Dak. He is by far the best QB in the division. Then you look at their Oline and weapons, as long as they are healthy on Offense they will score 27+ every game, regardless.

You have to outscore them, and their defense is young and getting better.  I dont see WFT hanging with them in a shootout. And I know we cant.

On paper they appear to be the best team. But in actual games, the division is up for grabs for everybody but the Giants. Dallas should be 0-2 right now, if not for the Chargers taking a stupid penalty late in their game. Dalls isn't head and shoulders above any team really (again, NY teams notwithstanding)
