I’d say Dillard/Smith/Fireman are 3 biggest busts of last 10 years. I’m not there with Reagor yet, he’s been decent so far this year

Not that he’s the biggest bust of all of them and he was in 2008 but we took Bryan smith in the third round and he never played a game.

These things seem to be left up to the players in the NFL, or at least with the eagles. If it were up to the medical staff, itd be consistent, however Johnson DID play. So it doesnt seem like the staff's decision when it varies player to player.

I still gotta say sleeves. He and his agent were making money and really never did very much in the nfl. At least Ben for being a dbag and not wanting to improve on the offensive end can say he nearly won DPOY.

I'm hoping it's a competitive, tough game, win or lose...  I just can't shake this feeling of having our arses handed to us tonight...  QB, coach, and overall team still trying to find themselves, and have to walk into Dallas on a Monday night...

Grade 2 MCL is typically 4 weeks. Pro athletes might miss 2 weeks. Im pretty sure Lane has played on one without missing any time. He may have even played on a grade 3, I cant remember.

Grade 3/Full tear/Rupture is typically 8 weeks. Pro athletes might miss 4-6.

Did the Eagles ever officially say if it was Grade 1 or Grade 2?  If they did then I missed it.

They didn't IR him for 3 weeks so it could be either and not Grade 3 and they only expect him to miss 2 games.  I'm OK with them being cautious with him and keeping him out 2 games even if it is Grade 1.  Maybe they consider what the player wants to do as part of the decision instead of solely leaving it up to the player, which sounds risky as Hell.  Lane has played football loads longer than Mailata and is more used to these type of injuries so if he told them he can go then they'd give him more consideration where Mailata (he didn't even start playing rugby til his latter teens) might not know his body as well and if he can go full out with an injury like this.

I think he played a bit of the 49ers game but then got injured again while playing.  Reaggravated his calf or whatever the hell is going on with him.
